great experience. my boyfriend and i went to thesandstonegrillhouse last evening for our last night in niagara falls. the service was excellent and the food was out of this world - best salmon i have ever had. had live music which made for a very pleasant atmosphere. would highly recommend to anyone visiting the falls.

the ultimate dining experience.. likingsandstonegrillhouse is an understatement. every dish surpasses my concept of perfection. attention to detail is a staple here, the passion is obvious in the quality of the drinks, dishes and the superb service.sandstonegrillhouse raises the bar on the dining experience.

i just leftsandstonethis moment because although we were greeted by a very warm and kind hostess, the rest of the staff was just starring at us without even a smile. after being seated, my husband and i waited 20 minutes only to be served water by the hostess herself where she was apologizing on behalf of our waiter that never attended us to begin with. few minutes later we decided to leave as a waiter went to the table next to us twice and completely ignored us while we were sweating in the heat. went to remingtons down the road. great meal excellent service :)

went tosandstonetonight for the first time. all of the staff were extremely friendly and the service was nothing short of 5 star quality. the best part, however, was the food. the calamari was cooked perfectly and meat on the lambshank fell off with the slightest touch of the fork. if we lived in niagara falls this would definitely be our go to restaurant.

family reunion.sandstonegrillhouse helped to make our 19 person family reunion in niagara falls enjoyable. excellent food, service and wine. hosts and hostesses were friendly but professional. every person in our group, ages 2-80, were pleased with their meal. thank yousandstonestaff.

not a gluten-free friendly restaurant. warning!!! thesandstonerestaurant is not cautious when it comes to food allergies. i told the server that i have a serious gluten/wheat (celiac) allergy and i couldn't eat croutons and when i got near the end of my ceasar salad i found a crouton! i told the server about the crouton and it took 2 tries to get the manager to come see me. when he came over, he tried to down play my allergy saying that i'll get some stomach pains but i'll live. how rude! he asked me what would make me feel better and i said to comp my meal, but he only took off the salad. i'm going to be sick tonight, and he's telling me its no big deal. please be careful and stay away from this place if you have any allergies!

after a couple of awful meals in niagara we pickedsandstonebased on its good reviews on urban spoon.they were right. delicious food, friendly and efficient service, nice atmosphere. reasonably priced. definitely recommend.

birthday dinner. my dear hubby and i visited this fine establishment, june 3, 2013. the atmosphere is delightful, romantic, and not overdone. we were met by a superb waiter/bartender, don who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was superb. the owner took his time to greet and make our acquaintance. the food was absolutely fabulous! we started with sweet and spicy chicken bites, that far exceeded our expectations. my hubby ordered a filet mignon with jumbo shrimp as a main and i ordered striploin steak. the meat was grilled to perfection, the potatoes were the best i have ever enjoyed, the veggies were tender crisp, exuding nutrients. don suggested a delightful pinto blanc, which was crisp and light, a wonderful accompaniment to our main course. we cannot express enough how well-prepared the food was from starter to main. the service is immpeciable! we would highly recommend this fine restaurant to everyone! kudossandstonegrillhouse! hope you prosper well! thanks so much for the best dining experience i have ever had! by the way, as i write this two hours later, we are still satiated!

best food and service ever. honestly, i never rate these places however. after reading reviews on here i decided to call and make a reservation for my wedding party. instantly dan and i connected, what a wonderful polite person to speak with, i requested the patio so my guests and i could enjoy the night. dan was so helpful and prompt in giving my choices for a group menu. my guests that had steak said it was the best they ever had, i had the chicken with mushrooms as well as the homemade cream of mushroom soup, i have never felt so in love with food. my other guests that chose the lasage and seafoood dish said it was so flavorful and the best cooked they ever had. the staff, man was i ever impressed. so kind so friendly, and very accommodating, my guest and i agree this should be the #1 spot in niagara! thankssandstonefor making my wedding night! _ ali from peterborough

we were a group of college graduates seeking for a well priced steakhouse. i made reservation for 23 persons at 5pm for 8pm. gentleman over the phone was super accomodating and he booked a part of the restaurant for us. we arrived at thesandstoneand we were well greated. the atmosphere was really nice as there was a lot of people from
all age groups. also, there was 2 gents playing music which was great, a nice change. barry, our server, was great from start to finish. considering we were a large group, service was fast and well done. the surf and turf special was delicious! good drinks as well! the lighting, the decor, the music were awesome add-ons to a nice restaurant experience. compliments to the kitchen, the owner and our excellent server barry! cheers guys!

a very nice choice!.sandstonegrillhouse was a wonderful experience all around. my husband had spaghetti and meatballs (to die for), my daughter had the kids' menu pepperoni pizza (homemade - not frozen) and my mom and i had tenderloin that was divine! my dad loved his ribeye steak and the atmosphere was fabulous. i think my favorite part was the vintage cow sippy cup they brought my daughter's drink in. i only wish they had them for sale! you won't go wrong if you choosesandstoneduring your trip to niagara falls, on. a treasure, for sure.

st. pat's day. a group of ten dined at thesandstoneon st. patrick's day. everyone had an excellent meal and our service was great. will definitely go back the next time we visit the falls.

really enjoyed the restaurant. food was very good. i had thesandstoneburger and my fiancé had thesandstonepizza. yum! our waiter was awesome, very friendly. the atmosphere was also nice. it was very laid back. if i lived in the area i would definitely go back.
