the staff, owner and atmosphere are all incredible here. the food is beyond anygoodreview possible. it was simply outstanding. you cannot go to niagara falls and not eat here. i can't possibly say enoughgoodabout this restaurant. the steak absolutely destroys the keg or anywhere else in niagara and i've been to almost every high end place for dinner. i found the pricing to be verygoodfor what you're getting in return also. i will be back here again and again

great service andgoodfood and presentation. steak was cooked perfectly and gnocchi was fantastic.
made reservations that we had to push back and they were happy to accommodate. highly recommended.

sunday dinner. we went for dinner to celebrate a birthday in our family. although the service wasgoodand the food tasted good, the appetiser, stuffed portabello was only luke warm , soup was barely warm and the rice and vegetables served with the entree's were again, only warm, although the meat portion of the entre was hot.

we were very disappointed as we had eaten here before and the meals were verygoodat that time. as our reservation was for 6:30, i don't think that it was a problem with the time of day.

best meal at the falls. after getting tired of all the "chains" my family and i wanted to try something new. i typed in" best restaurant in niagara falls" & up came the sandstone. the staff was friendly while booking a reservation and they weren't that off the beaten track. the succulent steaks my wife and i had were asgoodas they come with fresh veggies and potatoes. our daughter loved her chicken parmesan and big sundae. all together the best meal we've had since coming to town.

after a couple of awful meals in niagara we picked sandstone based on itsgoodreviews on urban spoon.they were right. delicious food, friendly and efficient service, nice atmosphere. reasonably priced. definitely recommend.

was here a few months back. very nice formal/casual dining.goodservice and great food presentation. salad was fancy and delicious. pasta and chicken very flavourful. would go again for special occasion.

amazing restaurant! went to check it out because of high ratings on urban spoon and it was right! i had the 12oz ny strip, mixed vegetables and rice. i asked for medium rare and got more medium but that did not matter one bit. the steak was absolutely amazing. the rice was incredible and the mixed vegetables were delicious. the steak melted in my mouth. only disappointment was there was no baked potato side option. girlfriend had chicken parm, sauce and chicken was excellent also only 17.99. the prices were verygoodand appropriate for food. my steak meal was 28$ and well worth it. had to get up and walk around and come back to finish! they also have us complimentary garlic bread which was delicious. restaurant is on the small side but plenty of outside seating. thanks urban spoon for letting me find this restaurant!

we were a group of college graduates seeking for a well priced steakhouse. i made reservation for 23 persons at 5pm for 8pm. gentleman over the phone was super accomodating and he booked a part of the restaurant for us. we arrived at the sandstone and we were well greated. the atmosphere was really nice as there was a lot of people from
all age groups. also, there was 2 gents playing music which was great, a nice change. barry, our server, was great from start to finish. considering we were a large group, service was fast and well done. the surf and turf special was delicious!gooddrinks as well! the lighting, the decor, the music were awesome add-ons to a nice restaurant experience. compliments to the kitchen, the owner and our excellent server barry! cheers guys!

had to add another review... get the creme brûlée.... it isgoodgood doublegood!!!!!

had the surf and turf, tenderloin was incredible. great little place easy to walk to from hotels beside the falls. friendly staff and a great evening dinner.
