it passed the "native" test.... stopped into sanchez on a whim last week with a nephew who was visiting from down south, and skeptical of any mexican restaurant north of fresno. can't remember exactly what we had but he ordered off of the menu and the food was great. not the generic rice/beans and cheese covered entree you see at so many places, but honestogawd good food, well-seasoned, and reasonably priced. i'll be goingbackthere.
