the perfect lunch spot in wilderness. great food, great setting and outstanding view.servicewas a bit slow, but the food makes up for this and it gives you time to take in the great surrounding. a must stop along the garden route.

what a place!  overlooks the most magnificent and scenic wildernis beach with views of the hills beyond.  food is spectacular.  freshest of ingredients, everything done to perfection.  there are two levels here and amid the comfortable chairs there is an open fireplace so useful for the chilly nights that are more common than you'd think. serviceis very good and the manager is very friendly and interested in people.  you've got to try the desserts.  we had a most delectable bread and butter pudding.  i can say for certainty that they do seafood very well.  haven't tried the meat but it's got to be excellent too.  this tiny town of wildernis is chock full of superb places and salina's could be a beacon saying, "welcome to wildernis where good food is guaranteed."

we had a fantastic lunch here with good drinks and good food.servicewas fantastic. the owner was there and took really great care of us. beautiful view onto the beach.

the perfect setting is ruined by an awfully average restaurant. upon our arrival there was no one to welcome us and we had to get the attention of a waiter before we could be seated. the food wasn't too bad, but i expected a lot more for what we paid. the whole experience was unfortunately ruined by the poorserviceand outdated decor.

good views of the ocean with a lot of outdoor seating to take advantage of the seascape. friendlyserviceand quick preparation of food. varied menu with decent portion sizes.

food tasted fresh and was good.staff was very attentive.the views and setup of the restaurant was excellent and maximised the superb location.great relaxed ambience.this was one of the better restaurants in terms of food quality andservicein the area.

last stop before flying out of george. quickserviceand great seafood tapas. the snoek pate was excellent and the calamari and fish gouging were very tasty

we had the stuffed chicken breasts, calamari and the fish of the day and it was great.servicea little slow but we took our own wine and enjoyed the view. overall a near-perfect experience :)

salina's has such a great view that it's hard not to recommend this restaurant. unfortunately though, theserviceis very slow and the food falls below average. the prices are also quite high for what you get.

great view but i find the restaurant overpriced from a value perspective, the food mediocre (my extremely tiny beef kebabs that i ordered medium arrived well done) and theserviceis poor (it took us 15 min after arriving to get first drinks order placed). i will definitely gove it a miss next time i am in wildernis.

stopped here after being at the beach with the family. ordered the beach tapas platter and fish and chips. food was good,servicespeedy so overall a great place.

breathtaking views, even though it was cold and we needed to sit inside it was spectacular! the pina coladas were delicious! i had the cheddar and blue cheese burger it was delicious! portion sizes are generous, theservicewas spectacular. definitely one to visit!

we've been to salina's for the umpteenth time now, yesterday. their selection, quality and standard of food was and is very consistent. salina's is one of south africa's greatest undiscovered secrets of good food and fine dining at a very good price. their tapas are stunning and worth a visit on its own. the rest of the menu also stunning! theservicewas perfect and friendly. the wine list excellent , catering for sophisticated as well as quaffing wine drinkers. highly reccomended. eddie wolff

we often eat at salina's when down on holiday. they make one of the best burgers, have good cocktails and a good view but theservicecan be very slow. don't go if you're in a rush.

this is an average restaurant in a prime location. is right on the beach and 2 levels up, giving you a beautiful view. the fish was fresh and tasty and theservicereasonable. it's a nice place to go to for lunch and soak up the view.
