salina's beach restaurant

firstly , the staff is more than welcoming , everyone is so friendly and greets you as you walk in. our waiter william was the best. he assured me that the chicken is halaal and got my tastebuds tantalizing when he brought me a spicy morrocan dressing to dress my salad. the portions are huge and prices are reasonable. the seating tables overlooks the beautiful indian ocean. theplacehas a lovely vibe to it and is central to the entire wilderness.

thisplacehas the best views ever... complimented with very good wine... its perfect for dates and family! super romantic with the most beautiful sunsets!

theplaceto be for fresh fish (with a nice mitchels craft beer). just outside wilderness, away from the crowds. we enjoyed lunch with a great view from the upper terrace. good recomendations from the server!

whenever we are in the wilderness area, we try to have lunch at salina's. the views are just spectacular from the veranda.

we did not make a reservation, and as per usual the restaurant was quite busy on this sunday afternoon.

we immediately got taken to a table and a waitress was there immediately. even though we had to give our drinks order to two different waiters in 5mins, the order came out correctly.

the food was great, we had the fish filled and ribs respectively and the quality is still the same great standard as last year.

recommend thisplaceto anyone looking for a relaxed sunday lunch spot! the best views from both decks.

although situated in a nice location we were not put in the best spot. being smokers and it being an extremely hot that day we were shifted under a furnace of a gazebo out back with not too much of a view. the food was average as we had there tapas selection...not one dish stood out. i can honestly say that with season there was defiantly no passion in the preparation or plating of the food. sloppy is the word. our waiter disappeared just after we ordered but i can say the gentleman that took over was a lekker guy. coolplaceif you want hit the beach after and maybe fill the gap if you are peckish but for what you pay you may need to grab some after.

waiter : absolutely useless . very slow and inefficient. took for ever to get our orders placed and received . other waiters seemed organized .

good, clean and friendly service. view is better during the day, or when sitting outside on a pleasant summers day. food was good and tasty. mediterranean mussels was different to the usual garlic/butter combination, and tasted good. aplaceto try!!

this is an average restaurant in a prime location. is right on the beach and 2 levels up, giving you a beautiful view. the fish was fresh and tasty and the service reasonable. it's a niceplaceto go to for lunch and soak up the view.
