nice view from upper deck. had dinner there after getting engaged. great food and decent wine selection. always fun to visit salina’s.friendlystaff.

what a place!  overlooks the most magnificent and scenic wildernis beach with views of the hills beyond.  food is spectacular.  freshest of ingredients, everything done to perfection.  there are two levels here and amid the comfortable chairs there is an open fireplace so useful for the chilly nights that are more common than you'd think.  service is very good and the manager is veryfriendlyand interested in people.  you've got to try the desserts.  we had a most delectable bread and butter pudding.  i can say for certainty that they do seafood very well.  haven't tried the meat but it's got to be excellent too.  this tiny town of wildernis is chock full of superb places and salina's could be a beacon saying, "welcome to wildernis where good food is guaranteed."

good views of the ocean with a lot of outdoor seating to take advantage of the seascape.friendlyservice and quick preparation of food. varied menu with decent portion sizes.

firstly , the staff is more than welcoming , everyone is sofriendlyand greets you as you walk in. our waiter william was the best. he assured me that the chicken is halaal and got my tastebuds tantalizing when he brought me a spicy morrocan dressing to dress my salad. the portions are huge and prices are reasonable. the seating tables overlooks the beautiful indian ocean. the place has a lovely vibe to it and is central to the entire wilderness.

wow! what an absolutely stunning view! the food and cocktails were good and there was a lovely vibe. wonderful,friendlyservice. definitely worth a visit.

i have very mixed feelings about salina's. although we reserved a table, we were seated by the door at an unreserved table and the welcome was lackluster. our waiter(s) werefriendlybut i would recommend more training with regard to proper restaurant etiquette and procedure. maybe i'm just a bit of a stickler for detail though.

the food came in a timely fashion. the seafood curry special was perfection; hearty and very flavorful. the grilled fish and calamari too was very hearty; the fish was beautifully cooked and seasoned and came with fresh veggies and tasty and crispy potato wedges. my sister had the chicken burger and it was tasty and loaded with toppings. the pork belly special was soft and tender but may have been a little half heartedly prepared as it was not crispy (which i believe pork belly should be) and the sauce killed the meal, it should have served on the side.
the chocolate pot dessert is what it is, a chocolate mousse type dessert in a wine glass with some ice cream.

the portions overall were quite big, but i'm into that, especially at these prices (r120-r150).

the ambiance could use some work, even for a "casual dining" restaurant. although, in the daytime, the view is beyond compare.

i give them 3.5 because i'm not sure if i could come back.

waiter : absolutely useless . very slow and inefficient. took for ever to get our orders placed and received . other waiters seemed organized .

great place for views and drinks . food is very average .

went twice in the day . the waiter in the afternoon was a gem . 9 out of 10 for him

lovely relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views overlooking the beach. veryfriendlystaff and an excellent menu with good fresh food and wine.

good, clean andfriendlyservice. view is better during the day, or when sitting outside on a pleasant summers day. food was good and tasty. mediterranean mussels was different to the usual garlic/butter combination, and tasted good. a place to try!!

stunning views of the ocean, perfectly set for cocktails at sunset! service wasfriendlyand attentive and the food was okay- but the views made up the rest.

salinas beach restaurant welcomed us with the crisp smell of the ocean and the spectacular view of the sea. the food was divine, full of flavour for the taste buds. the staff are sofriendlyand kind. a true ocean lovers experience.
