i got lucky. i came on a day they were having a crawfish boil. best crawfish i have ever had. it was spicy and crawfish were cooked perfectly. the gumbo was also very good.

nothing negative. food is average. service was ok. location is probably the best feature. ambience is more for party crowds specifically groups of females. better dining can be found within a 15 min walk.

if you're passing through nola, you have to stop here for a big 1.5 pound pot of their spicy crawfish( it's really spicy but totally worth it!) . also suggest the shrimps and gouda grits!. the drinks aren't anything to die for , but have one while you're at it! the servers are super sweet and will help you out if it's your first time eating crawfish!

we had dinner on the front porch here in march 2016 and it was great service & food. we went back in may for lunch m, sat inside and both the service and the food paled in comparison to our first visit but it was lunch versus dinner so we just wrote it off. we went back for lunch today and asked if the 4 of us could sit at the available table for 4 on the porch. there were only 2 chairs at the table & we were told that they couldn't spare 2 more chairs from the dining room. me: well then do you have a table available inside? host: yes. me: well then can we have two of those chairs? host: let me get the manager. mgr: no, we can't let you sit out there, no chairs blah blah. me: on thanks we'll go somewhere else. my husband: we won't ever be back. mgr: ok, enjoy your visit in new orleans. my husband: we live here. mgr: 😮. rude tourist trap. went went down a few blocks to pier 424 where we've also had great food & service in the past, sat on their upstairs balcony and again had great food & service.

fun place. our waiter was friendly and engaging. the big crawfish boil was tasty,but it was a bit on the spicy side and a few "mushy" crawdads needed to be tossed. there was plenty of food for two, however. our friend got the gator tacos and enjoyed them. the drinks were a bit disappointing; only sweet drinks were on their specialty list. we tried to order a sazerac and was told they had no absinthe (or herbsaint), which was a surprise.

visited nola for one night with my wife. chris was my server and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. food was absolutely amazing, especially the crawfish pie. will definitely visit again.

so apparently the actor channing tatum owns this place. that being said the decor was overdid and a tad cheesy. bright red velvet walls and even had a life size cut out of the actor himself. if you can get past the ambience, the food was surprisingly really good. my hub had the crawfish broil. i had shrimp and grits. the grits were creamy and cheesy to perfection. the shrimp were large and cooked just right. not sure if i would eat there again if in town though.

bbq shrimp & grits. some of the best shrimp and grits i've ever had!

the best all around dinner we had over the weekend in the french quarter.

monday 2-09. we had the fried alligator tail. it was mostly gristle. we also had crawfish. $20 for 1.5 lb plus sides seemed high, but i didn't want to come all the way to new orleans and not have crawfish. the sides we got(potatoes, corn, and sausage) were room temperature and the crawfish were lukewarm, tiny, and chewy. it was so bad we didn't even finish the small amount we were given. i can handle small crawfish. that is part of eating crawfish. but to serve stale, cold crawfish and charge that much is ridiculous. will definitely not be back.

incredible service to match trendy atmosphere. we made reservations here for a bachelorette party, and it was a great way to start the night! the posh decor immediately creates a sexy ambiance, and our service was impeccable. the manager (sarah i believe?) came over to congratulate the bride, and sent over a round of shots on the house. we had one small hiccup with our large order, but she immediately made it right, and could not have offered better service. to top off the night, they brought down the cut-out of channing so we could pose and take pictures with him! all in all, this is a great place for tourists and visitors to enjoy a fun night on the town. the food is good, but you come here for the experience!

bachlorette/birthday celebration. group of 13 of us came for dinner-everyone loved the food and it was reasonably priced and delicious. everyone loved their food. the waitstaff was fantastic, fun, and focused on serving good food and fun. we ended up coming back to the vip rooms later which was the best part of our new orleans trip with balcony access and a bar upstairs. the staff contributed to our fun and we would go back all the time if we could. even the management rocked. great time!

we made reservations here for my daughters 21st birthday. the manager was in constant contact with me prior too the evening. they were able to accommodate us even though we arrived an hour late. the service was wonderful! the food was great! all staff were friendly and very accommodating. the waitress even noticed that one of party had spilled their water in their food and offered to replace the dish. the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted to start our evening off. we were seated in the upstairs vip area. i highly recommend this restaurant for a bachelorette or 21st birthday! thank you again for making this a great evening!
