bachlorette/birthday celebration. group of 13 of us came for dinner-everyone loved the food and it was reasonably priced and delicious. everyone loved their food. the waitstaff was fantastic, fun, and focused on servinggoodfood and fun. we ended up coming back to the vip rooms later which was the best part of our new orleans trip with balcony access and a bar upstairs. the staff contributed to our fun and we would go back all the time if we could. even the management rocked. great time!

mardi gras vaca. had a wonderful experience. everything was verygoodand our waitress dominique was very helpful and super sweet. will eat here again.

fun times at murder mystery dinner. i just had my first experience at the saints and sinner's murder mystery dinner. i didn't know what to expect from this dinner but i can definitely say it exceeded expectations. it was a very nice change from my usual friday/saturday night. the dinner is interactive and there are lots of surprises throughout the night. i was also pleasantly surprised by the food. the shrimp and grits were delicious and so was the corn and crab soup which the chef later told me was gluten free. i would definitely recommend murder mystery dinner to those who are looking to have some fun while still enjoying some verygoodnew orleans food.

fun visit.goodatmosphere and a must if you're a channing tatum fan. the politician's special was agoodsampling of local flavors. we couldn't fault the prompt and friendly service. the only disappointment was that channing wasn't there, it would have been the icing on the cake.

i have been to a great many restaurants and have worked in the food service industry as well. and i can confidently say that i have never seen a restaurant staff act the way this staff did!
we sought this restaurant out because a few people in our group are tatum fans. we arrive at 7pm on a saturday night and notice there is literally no one eating there. that should have been a big red flag. we walk up and a younger guy meets us and asks us where we would like to sit. we tell him inside cause it was a hot june evening. we go inside and it was stifling! no ac at all. he take us to the back and approaches a server. they start talking, he starts swearing at her and he storms off without another word to us! as he's storming out, the server screams at him "it's your f-ing job to seat them, not mine! you do it!!" my group was so appalled at this outburst that we left immediately!
i can't tell you how the food was or if the drinks were decent cause of the god aweful service this place provided. if my name and reputation were attached to something like this i would fire the entire staff and put the place on the market asap!goodluck with this turd sandwich channing.

saints & sinners is an amazing venue. the night life is vibrant and alive. the food and drink, especially the specials, are tasty and worth making the time to visit on vacation. i don't think i've ever had tastier crawfish as i did there! it's such a classy fun joint that i wish i could visit regularly! the staff has impeccable dress and manners and absolutely ensures yourgoodtime. definitely a hit!

cozy restaurant in the heart of bourbon street, with amazing drinks and great food! the decor is an interesting mix of be and a flair of old! the wait staff and managers were awesome and tookgoodcare of us!

not a fake review!. this is my first review with urban spoon and i assure you it's not fake. i can understand the skepticism from the others. i'm from chicago, have no ties with the bar staff/owner. i'm not gunna lie, i went there because channing tatum is linked to it...and lets face it, many women have and will continue to go for that reason alone. i dragged 2 co-workers with me. one of them loves cajun food, has been to nola many times, tried many restaurants..knows the dive places that serve the best food and so on. the other is a woman who is super picky about everything ...very high maintenance and very blunt. when we walked up to the place, i was nervous. there weren't many people in at the time, i had not read the best review...and i didn't want to let my company down.

i ordered the shrimp dinner, blackened with the standard sides of mashed potatoes and green beans. the guy ordered the gumbo and the other woman ordered the catfish with a side of coleslaw. all 3 of us could not believe howgoodour meals were. my shrimp was perfect (and yeah,you can mess shrimp up) the catfish was amazing, the potatoes were great...perfect consistency. the coleslaw was outstanding...but the gumbo was it. that was the winner. you know your gumbo is the real deal when you find clam shells and crab claws in it. fresh..flavorful, delicious. sogoodthat he ordered a second bowl and that was his dinner.

our server was very attentive, very friendly and helpful. we kept him busy and he did not disappoint. give this place a chance. every bar/restaurant has an off day. if you try it twice and hate it both times then shame on me! if i go there again and have a bad experience...it won't be enough to keep me away :)

the food was really good!! the service was horrible!!! we received our appetizer after we had eaten our meal and then had to chase the waitress down for our bill and it was the wrong bill...it was a very slow monday night. the shrimp & grits were verygoodthough and the crab grit cakes were nice also....

the full story. i have not been to the s&s yet.... plan on going this weekend and it is like getting through to the president to find out information about this place.

but i ask for a reply from anyone that has been there if you can elaborate on the admission and live entertainment on the weekend: it is a local band (live music) or a burlesque show, does anyone know the time schedule? for the entertainment...

also heard if you dress up in the 1920's era you can get in with no admission charge? is that every weekend ??

i will be glad to comment on the food, drinks and entertainment once i have visited, but would like a heads up before i go....

tried it and liked it!. it was my birthday and i picked the place. i had been to this restaurant before when it was sammy's. it looks totally different after an extensive renovation. " nicely done". my wife and i ordered each a cup of gumbo, bar-b-que shrimp, grits and crab cakes. the gumbo was delivered in bowls as an added treat as we were only charged for cups. gumbo wasgoodbut was mostly liquid and not full of seafood as expected. the bar-b-que shrimp were verygoodbut the best dish was the grits and crab cake. lump crab meat, shrimp and the grits combo were to die for! we mentioned we were locals and received 10% off and got free shots for my birthday! the prices were great for bourbon st. and the outdoor seating where you are in a courtyard that is about 3 feet higher than the sidewalk is great. you couldn't get any closer to bourbon st. yet just high enough and behind a wrought iron fence so you are private. would i go again and recommend others? definately!

no fake reviews. according to amy's posting,all thegoodreviews where fake. apparently amy was not there. i was and everygoodthing said was the truth. the food was some of the best that i have ever ate and what a variety. the bread pudding for dessert was fabulous! the food and drinks kept coming due to the attentive staff and one of the owners, keith kurtz. the burlesque show went right along with the theme of the bar. agoodtime was had by all! put this bar on your must see list!goodjob, saints and sinners staff! see you next year!

fake reviews?. 10 glowing reviews on a place that literally just opened. nope nothing suspicious at all about that.....

edited to add - i have not been here yet, but i do want to try it. i definitely stand by my statement because it is quite common for "shill" reviews to pop up on new restaurants, normally by people with just the one review. i am not the first yelper/ urban spooner to point that out, but thanks to tami for calling me out on it, and being so defensive about it.goodtimes.
