a treat for the senses!. this is the place to people-watch in spokane! add killer flatbread aps, great salads and a very nice wine list -- all at an affordable price -- what's not to love? it's an especially good choice with teenagers as there's something for everyone and the "show" gives us all something to talk about. it's fun, lively and classy.

simply outstanding. we spent four days in the davenport and the highlight of our stay was the safari room. we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were exceptional! everything we ate and drank was outstanding! the service was beyond reproach.ratings: ambiance 4/5 stars, value 3/5, food presentation 5/5 stars, food taste 5/5 stars, overall 4.25/5 stars... can't wait to go back.

big surprise. after a nightmare of many restaurants on first friday in spokane and the fireside a couple of times recently we wanted to see if the safari could live up to reputation of the davenport and spokane. it did. it was crazy busy and we still had great service and the price ... i told the server that they had made a mistake it should have been $40 not $17. happy hour really is happy at the safari with great food and martini's.

desserts in a shot glass!. if you want an elegant urban dessert and drinks night this is a great place to visit. desserts are on display in shot glasses for your pleasure. drinks are great and coffee is smooth. you can bring your date or family for a fun treat. the jungle decor will keep the kids entranced!

the safari room is part of the davenport hotel in downtown spokane. it is actually located in the davenport tower on the corner of first and post. you can go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner; we chose dinner. i was surprised to discover that the safar
