pathetic management, the restaurant cannot be trusted to serve vegetarian food even if the the restaurant is pureveg, as they say due to pandemic. staff is not at all guilty for their mistake.

such horrible mistake shouldn't be committed hence forth . i hadordered avegalfredo spaghetti pasta and as we trusted saanjh as a purevegrestaurant however we had no idea till date that due to pandemic thatvegand non-veg items both have started getting prepared in the same kitchen and even if that is so we cannot expect a non-veg item to be delivered at any cost .if we know for a fact they send us a nonvegpasta while i orderedvegone with the clear vegetarian symbol . such lack of supervision on the part of the restaurant is really shameful thing because you have no idea what havoc this terrible mistake has caused in a jain home .

saanjh (pure veg) resto of bon vivant serves a wide variety of lip-smacking cuisines, in huge portion size with very courteous service, all without burning a hole in your pocket. i drove all the way from my resort in bhandardhara to nashik to have good birthday lunch, and bon vivant didn't make me regret. i chose the place as it had all cuisines - continental, oriental and indian under one roof, along with a cafe and a bakery. we ordered sindhi papad, paneer chilly, cheese cherry pineapple, chinese sizzler and dum mixveggravy. each of the dish was well presented and tasty. ccp and sindhi papad are a must try here. also the cakes at their bakery were extra ordinary. the only and a major let down was the washroom, they didn't have a washroom in saanjh and the one in eastern spice was at the other end while the other on rooftop cafe was yucky and without water. they must ensure clean washrooms considering the big place they have.

pure vegetarian food !
one of the restaurants at bon vivant which is purevegand attracts mostly families.
i have been here only once which was a few months ago.
as i entered.. i don't know why but somehow the ambiance didn't please me very much specially compared with the other outlets at bon vivant. there was poor lighting inside the restaurant. we orderedvegmanchow soup and masala papad.
the soup was good but the fried noodles were a bit raw. masala papad was nice.
we had just one starter before leaving.. i don't remember the exact name but it was some paneer dish. it came in good quantity and the taste was not so great. just kinda okayish !

food: 2.5/5

firstly, the restaurant is not a pure vegetarian restaurant. it serves non vegetarian dishes and also houses a full bar. zomato got this one wrongly listed. though i had no issues with this! the ambience is amazing with good parking space. we hadvegmoroccan soup, chilli corn penne pasta (white sauce),veghakka noodles andvegsingapore fried rice which were bang on taste. the service was courteous and quick.

ambience: 4/5

overall :3.5 /5
bon vivant has 2 restos 1st is nonvegand 2nd pure veg.
we had a party and we wanted to have nonvegbut ac wasnt working and they had no alternative for that so they asked us to sit invegsection this was the first depression as the nonvegone had better ambience

then we went tovegsection that was too congested they made us sit near washroom so we again got up

then we found that here also only one ac was working

then we had roomali khakra 4/5 it was a bit uncooked at the top then for lunch we hadveghandi which was sweet and paneer lava which was awesome.
we had roti basket which was awesome but only 6 breads .
we had shev bhaji 3/5 spice was awesome while it was too hot(chilli) .
and staff was not at all professional we asked them to clean the mess after starters they only cleaned corners while it was dirty at the centre.

we had to tell the staff 10 times to light the place up.

and ambience disappointed too much but the people made the fun.

sanjh not recommended but eastern spice is recommended and their sizzlers too

one of the few good purevegrestaurants in town. the kumbh bharwan kebab is to die for. paneer musallam is equally good. service is prompt.

writing this review after visiting the restaurant thrice. had to go forvegmenu due to some obligations.

food: 5/5
got to taste one of the best starters i ever had.vegmanchurian andvegmanchow soup were really awesome.. quantity of serving was also good..

ambience : 4/5
ambience is good.. but could have been better.. gets somewhat noisy at times.. but i'm ok with that.

service : 4.5/5
staff is courteous and service is quick. deliberately not giving 5/5 as there's a slight scope for improvement..

overall superb restaurant and one of the best in nashik.. worth a visit or two..

p.s. since i haven't visited their nonveg section, can't really comment on it... but looking forward for a visit to the nonveg section also.

great going guys! keep up the good work!

going to a cult restaurant is pretty much like walking blindfolded. you can only expect good things to happen. boy, how far can you go with complexity, fanciness and variety? bon vivant is just an example.

the place - neatly located right opp. to dongre vasti grounds, off gangapur road. entering the place will make you forget the million people and billion cars honking outside. beautifully done dimly lit family dinner place. they have a separate purevegnorth indian section which seems to create a sense of divide. the roof top area has a good space. must comment on the squeaky and extremely uncomfortable wooden chairs. space saving ergonomics attempt there?

the service - to the point, with a smile and quick. no complaints there. i had a small doubt with the ingredients in a sauce, the servers were kind enough to go and ask the chef. much appreciated.

the food - the menu is unconventional, fair and pretty much vast. the flavour combinations looked worked upon.
dont forget to try:
-broccoli cannelloni
-indonesian sizzler (non veg)
-pad thai noodles

-drunken chicken tandoori

if you are looking for a happy ending(pun intended) then head out to their bake studio, located right outside the restaurant and try the walnut pie...wont disappoint you for sure.
