such horrible mistake shouldn't be committed hence forth . i hadordered a veg alfredo spaghetti pasta and as we trusted saanjh as a pure veg restaurant however we had no idea till date that due to pandemic that veg and non-veg items both have started getting prepared in the same kitchen and even if that is so we cannot expect a non-veg item to be delivered at any cost .if we know for a fact they send us a non veg pasta while iorderedveg one with the clear vegetarian symbol . such lack of supervision on the part of the restaurant is really shameful thing because you have no idea what havoc this terrible mistake has caused in a jain home .

saanjh (pure veg) resto of bon vivant serves a wide variety of lip-smacking cuisines, in huge portion size with very courteous service, all without burning a hole in your pocket. i drove all the way from my resort in bhandardhara to nashik to have good birthday lunch, and bon vivant didn't make me regret. i chose the place as it had all cuisines - continental, oriental and indian under one roof, along with a cafe and a bakery. weorderedsindhi papad, paneer chilly, cheese cherry pineapple, chinese sizzler and dum mix veg gravy. each of the dish was well presented and tasty. ccp and sindhi papad are a must try here. also the cakes at their bakery were extra ordinary. the only and a major let down was the washroom, they didn't have a washroom in saanjh and the one in eastern spice was at the other end while the other on rooftop cafe was yucky and without water. they must ensure clean washrooms considering the big place they have.

ambiance is very average. tables are not super clean. staff is more of like staff on road side chinese food provider types.
simple question was asked what is a speciality of your restaurant, guy gave a menu card and said everything.
which sizzler do you suggest, sir koi bhi lo sab best hai.
ordered 2 sizzlers all of them had cold rice, one whole sizzler was cold. not at all hot.
in terms of service. pathetic.
they did not serve at all.
generally in all restaurants i have been andorderedall of them have served sizzlers. here this guys is saying no one serves sizzlers. in my whole career i have never been in any restaurant where they serve sizzlers. its continental thing and should not be served.
we had to call manager to escalate this further and then got it served.
overall very very below average staff and service.

pure vegetarian food !
one of the restaurants at bon vivant which is pure veg and attracts mostly families.
i have been here only once which was a few months ago.
as i entered.. i don't know why but somehow the ambiance didn't please me very much specially compared with the other outlets at bon vivant. there was poor lighting inside the restaurant. weorderedveg manchow soup and masala papad.
the soup was good but the fried noodles were a bit raw. masala papad was nice.
we had just one starter before leaving.. i don't remember the exact name but it was some paneer dish. it came in good quantity and the taste was not so great. just kinda okayish !

food: 2.5/5
ambiance: 2/5
service: 4/5
rates: 3/5

i'm new to nashik and bon vivant is a revelation to an ardent foodie like me. the decor is very upscale: parisian cafe meets indian traditionalism. we were lucky to be able to secure a table within 5 minutes of arrival and considering it was a sunday and there were large groups of people waiting for a table gave me hope and made me expectant of the food. the menu has a wide range of of cuisines from sizzlers to mughlai-punjabi fusion. weorderedthe roomali khakhra which was such fun to devour and very tasty too. the cream of tomato soup, made with real tomatoes and cream as opposed to tomato ketchup, was absolutely wonderful. the mains weorderedwere veg. kolhapuri and a paneer dish i couldn't hear with rotis. they were all very delicious and quantity wise were quite ample. i would like to mention here that the rotis were whole wheat flour and not refined flour as is seen in many expensive restaurants. it was a very good surprise. we finished the meal with jeera rice and dal tadka that were a truly splendid end to a fantastic meal. we were too happily full of food to try out desserts. the only thing that i didn't enjoy were the excessively noisy patrons just adjacent to us who made civil conversation just about impossible. though it isn't the management's fault that people believe screaming in a restaurant is an acceptable mode of communication, it did retract from our experience a little. i will come here again to try out more on the menu as well as the bakery.

this was my first time here..
but i was really happy with their service and their ambience.. nice pleasing ambience.. n i'll definitely visit this place again..
well.. i hadorderedkhakra n baked blueberry cheesecake..
i dint like the crushed peanut which was applied inside the khakra bcz i don't like peanuts.. i was expecting normal butter and masala inside..
but the chutneys they served with the khakra was mindblowing.. one was shezwan and the other was green chutney..
and talking about the cheesecake.. it was awweessoommee

after a morning of hectic errands, we [family of four] decided to have lunch at saanjh. the place had good word-of-mouth [especially when it started] but now need some attention.

ambience: 3
the decor is quite nice but we visited on a hot thursday afternoon, and the table we were seated at didn't get any cooling even though they claimed at all acs were working. the menus have seen better days. [ they are falling apart, have new prices scribbled illegibly etc]

food: 3.5
they have your regular indian fare as well as continental and asian.
weorderedthe simple paneer butter masala and dubuk wada with rotis. the former was a little sweet for my liking.

service: 3.5
the waiters didnt appear groomed at all. also they werent very attentive.

value for money: 3.5
not too expensive but the establishment can try harder to ensure a good experience for the customers.

overall: 3.5
if you are short on time, grab a a quick bite and forget about it. if you have time to spare, might as well look at other options [ there are few within 10 minutes driving distance]

would i visit again: maybe
would i recommend it to friend: maybe

found one decent restaurant to have dinner in nasik city with an amazing ambiance. iordereda chicken soup which was not that great, the starter was server before the soup was over, "didn't expect that". had placed an order for 2 starters, but at you see in the pic just one was severed and they were out of stock on mutton ?. the chicken starterorderedwas "kohinoor kebab" which was really very delicious. but no matter how good the food is service does matter a lot. to start with the captain doesn't have the courtesy to inform that they are out of stock on mutton and expected us to forget that we had evenorderedit. when asked i was informed that "sorry sir we don't have mutton kebab today". i had to call out 5 times to get my glass refilled with water and it took 30 mins to serve us the desert after we were done with our dinner.
