good food but pricey. the burgers are verygoodbut too pricey for the size. i am not a big eater and did not get full on one burger. i think if a side were included with the price of the burger that would make me go back.

s&b's burger joint. trendy, goodfood and loud.. my wife and i decided to eat at s&b's for the first time on wednesday evening about 5:45. first, parking is a problem as the main lot is gravel and the next lot is one way in and then you probably need to back out. they need to rethink all of this. the burgers are good, maybe very good. they are juicy and you need lots of napkins. all have catchy names and were interesting to try to figure out what you wanted. it's more of a bar that serves burgers rather than a restaurant that has a bar. lots of beer selection and that seems to be the attraction. the service is prettygoodbut the food will take about 15 - 20 minutes to arrive. i had one of the burgers and my wife had another variety. we also had the combo fries and sweet potato fries. these were very good. it's a little over priced but i guess you are going for the trendy atmosphere in almost downtown okc. it should do quite well for the younger set but for me it was a little too expensive and too loud. maybe it was just the two obnoxious men sitting at the bar who were very overweight and shouted almost every word.....

one in the franchise and not the pick of the litter.

at lunchtime parking can get interesting. their service is slow so that translates into a long lunch. i wasn't expecting qsr speeds but this was pretty slow. in contrast others in the chain are slowing but nothing like this.

now on to the food. thought the burgersgoodwith some interesting combinations and prices to match. burger came cooked as requested. food was the match of other outlets in the chain.

think i would consider one of the other outlets because you can probably get there and back sooner.

i was served the wrong order. ord ered a chicken & mushroom & was served the okie chicken. the server offered to remake the order but i declined because i thought i would just go ahead & eat the okie chicken. it was too spicy to my liking & it wasn't verygoodso i only ate about half. i should have ha d them remake the order in retrospect. it was the first time they have ever gotten an order wrong for me. i won't ever order the okie chicken tho! not up to s & b's usual standards.

two strikes. i usually give a place a three strikes and then they are out, this place has two so far. the first was the hour wait at lunch, since i only get an hour for lunch that is why. strike two came on the next visit. we get there at 11;50, and there is a group of 10, but since there is just two of us and their tables are set for 4 we had to wait, until they filled the larger groups or groups with 4 people. michelle finally stepped up and caused a rukus, so we finally got a seat, but i bet they spit in our food. but since that day we have not had any problems and we eat here at least twice a week. the fatty is good, and the fried onions are just enough, the pie isgoodbut it comes from pie junkies and that is another review. the staff is pierced and tattooed and old crappy jeans and some are damn right scarey, but the food is good, and we try not to stare at them. but there is a chick with fish hooks in her lips and bars on her eyes, wth is she going to look like in 10 years...oh my !i give it like 7 stars out of 10.

well, we can say we tried it.. had read somegoodthings about it (don't believe anything the gazette might say) but now we know better. i tried the columbia burger that was supposed to be crusted with sea salt and coffee. sounded very unique and of course different for an okc burger joint. i guess the cook has not read the menu yet. the burger looked and tasted like any other. there certainly wasn't any evidence or flavor of a sea salt, coffee crust. could not find or taste the avocado either. lots of salsa though. the buns on our burgers were very good. however a lot of mine went to waste since the beef patty was so small. my wife's signature burger was good, but tuckers has a much better onion burger we both thought. the fries weregoodand warmed up our hands which were freezing since the joint was so cold (it was february). we also had to talk to each other in very loud voices so we couldn't here each other over the music. my wife commented the she felt like she was in night club with a live band playing. like i said, we tried it. won't be back.

too rigid. ordered one of the menu burgers, which was ok but not spectacular. what triggered the review was the response to my request for a different cheese than shown on the menu (i.e., swapping cheddar for gouda). the server told me that it would cost an extra $1.20, because the kitchen doesn't like to make substitutions. the net effect was i got one slice of cheese for the price of two. as there are plenty of more accommodating options in the area that are asgoodor better, i do not plan to cause this kitchen staff any further inconvenience. (footnote: the way i asked for the burger was how it had been shown on their on-line menu - i.e., with smoked cheddar cheese - but the on-site menu didn't match . . . hence the upcharge.)

just asgoodas the original location. i've been a long time fan of s&b's, and only tried this new location out recently. this location has the nicest date-night atmosphere out of the three. the burger was just as delicious as the ones i've gotten at other locations, and i was glad for that. as i've posted for the original s&b, the same applies here. delicious burgers, but the price of fries & drinks feels a bit too steep to me, so i generally don't get them. i was genuinely surprised when the manager came around and checked that everything was ok with our dishes and service. i've been to the original location around 14 times, and have never had anyone but the server check on us. our server was obviously very new, but she was very polite and courteous about any delays we had in our meal. try the hotlips houlihan, it's really good. would recommend, would eat at this location again.

the service from the waiter we ha was verygoodand the burgers were delicious. theistic is way too loud and the manager came to our table and asked specifically about our shakes. i told him my shake did not taste verygoodso he explained time what was in a shake. like i don't know. then he offered to take it off the ticket which he knew i had already paid for. he then tried to hurry us out the door. will never be back and if i ever meet that manager again, we can talk like men outside of his environment. maybe he can afford for some common sense customer service classes or even just some common sense.

favorite burger place. while s & b's has expanded in all directions from it's original nw 59th and may location, this second location is my favorite. brett has been a regular for several years now, eating there about once per week, with toni joining him from time to time. it's small, with experienced long-time servers and kitchen crew who all do a verygoodjob. the cooks at this location seem to take more care and producegoodfood every time. this is not a four-star experience, folks. it's a well-run bar with a much higher standard for creative andgoodfood than most any bar that you will frequent in okc. try it!

wow! what a burger!!. my fiance and i went here for lunch before a civic center show last saturday. this was my first trip to this restaurant chain and i am happy to say it was awesome!! the decor was old record album covers and a picture of a record store along with posters of rock stars all over the place. love the open kitchen so i can see my food being prepared. i had the bleu burger, a bacon wrapped burger stuffed with bleu cheese. need i say more. it was excellent! i also tried their caesar fries. alsogoodbut not needed since the burger was rather filling.

the menu had a great variety of burgers to try and they would also build burgers to order. plan to go back and try each one!
