rusty's seafood & oyster bar

very disappointed. my husband and i were looking for a good oyster place to eat thinking this was the place to go we were fooled. my husband ordered the captains platter which was supposed to come with a variety ofseafoodwhat he got was a joke. 2 shrimp 2 tiny oysters 3 pieces of nugget size fish, and calamari spread out on a mountain of french fries. first and last time we will eat at rustys. this plate alone was 25 dollars. i will pass this along to family and friends.

steamedseafoodplatter was really good. steamed oysters were my favorite. also, crab dip was really tasty for an appetizer. recommend to anyone staying in town.

disappointed. new deck is beautiful. i can see it being a welcome slip for afternoon bevies and snacks. but unfortunately we went for dinner.seafoodwas fishy and average for a coastal town, while prices were not. key lime pie that was boated about - i've had better. waitress was good, but greeting at the door was enough to make us turn away. all in all - it is independent restaurants like these that make people turn to the familiarity of a chain. and that is disappointing.

very good. this is by far the best place to eat in the port, make sure u dont head into the business next door thinking its rusty's tho as happened to me once. service is great and food is actually qualityseafoodunlike there neijbors.

good ole rusty. been dropping in to rusty's for 24 years. it's a dockside bar & restaurant offering up basicseafoodsandwiches, salads, and platters, and shellfish. prices are very reasonable. theseafoodis fresh. there is a wide assortment of "boat drinks" the new deck is a great place to dine and the needed facelift that brings it back to the forefront of port dining.

homestyle buffet. i went there for the lunch buffet which was 6.99, i was kind of disappointed since it is aseafoodrestaurant i was hoping it would have a lot ofseafoodon the buffet it only had fried shrimp and fried fish both of which were pretty good, though it did have a lot of other things that weren'tseafoodlike two types of chicken wings, they had a lot of home-style things like mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, some good ham, and when i went there some amazing creamy tomato soup, which i used to dip all my friedseafoodin. i went there for aseafoodbuffet and it was more like a home-style, though everything was pretty good, the place was really nice and the outside deck looked pretty awesome, no problems with the service, when i'm in the mood forseafoodi'll probably come back here though i'll order something other than the buffet. i saw some people getting some raw shelled oyster that looked pretty cool might give that a try next time.

what can i say, when i need my friedseafoodfix i go to rusty's. enough said.

worst burger ever. i do realize that this is aseafoodbar however, that doesn't mean other menu items should be lacking in quality. the bread on my burger was stale and had an odd aftertaste. with a bakery right down the street you would think that they would get fresh bread every day. when i asked about that i was told that they had to buy bread that last two weeks. how disgusting.

wow, what horrid service. 20 minutes and noone even got our drink order. talked to the manager, he didn't seem to care. left and went down the street to grillsseafooddeck. much better. apparently, rusty doesn't care to inter-racial couples. stay clear of this place.

nice atmosphere. the food there is quite delicious and theseafoodis super fresh. however if you are not a fan of blood or dead fish do not get a table near the docks because they cut the fish right there. overall the restaurant is true floridian food.
