brunch very underwhelming. i can usually ignore sub-par service if the food is outstanding, but when the food is bad and the service is bad, it makes for a bad experience. my family dined here for fathers day brunch and none of us were pleased. i had the fritatta of the day, tomato and summer squash. it was flavorless and the fried potatoes that accompanied it were bland as well. my wife had the shrimp and grits, which may have been worse than the fritatta. it also arrived over 10 minutes after the rest of our food. the sauce was very oily and thegritswere grainy. bread is not served with meals, but rather sold as a side item for $5. we ordered 2 baskets of bread and they brought 6 pre-made dinner rolls to the table with 2 small pads of butter. we did however enjoy their bloody marys and mimosas. i will not be likely to return to rumors, and definitely not for brunch.
