arrived here during eid and tried their hariyali kebab sizzler, chicken tikka masala, sirkewale pyaaz and tandoori roti...pure bliss 👌

service was a little slow as per my opinion, but the generous attitude of all the staff won our hearts. ❤️

we went to royal mughal for dinner recently. the staff were warm and welcoming and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. being vegetarian i ordered dum aloo benarasi and my husband chose the chicken mumtaz. the aloo benarasi was cooked perfectly in a delicious tomato based gravy and stuffed with raisins. it was finger licking good and i got to pack the leftovers for a second meal. my husband’s chicken was in a cashew based gravy and he seemed very happy with it too. we had butter and garlic naans which perfectly completed the meal. we were looked after really well by the staff and left wanting to go back at the earliest. i have my heart set on the malai kofta for the next visit 😋

great ambiance and attentive service.  we ordered three different kinds of chicken with sauce in them: butter chicken, chicken masala and chicken mughal (i think), all came looking the same :d  but no complaints, they all tasted good and we really couldn't tell the difference which one was which but we enjoyed our meals.  good to share and the naans always delicious we ordered seconds.

nice and prestigious indian restaurant. it's perfect for gathering and spending private or official invitations. biryani is marvelous together with other spicy or buttery chicken recipes. ambiance is soft and elegant. the staff members are polite and professional. definitely recommended.

i had high expectations from royal mughal however was extremely disappointed in their food. i ordered malai kofta and that was a disaster. with malai kofta being one of my favourites, i know how it is made and it definitely isn't mughal to prepare the koftas with cherries and pineapples. it's anything but a mughal kofta. i know it's a little sweet and in some variations people add dry fruits or cardamom to it but never pineapples and cherries. i wonder if the mughal used it too. upon feedback, the staff tried to defend the dish. inspite of not eating the dish and expressing clearing disappointment, we were charged in full for something that was a fiasco and we didn't eat. expected better customer service there atleast or the least could have been an offer to replace the dish. clearly, they're interested in getting business without consideration for any customer satisfaction.

the vegetable kofta i had from here, along with that sizzling paratha. holy moly, it still waters my mouth. but there was a painting behind which scared the poopopp out of me, but overall a great restaurant.

my favorite restaurant for indian food in al ain is royal mughal, located in al ain mall extension. the restaurant has been a part of the al ain dining scene for over 15 years and is a great place for family and friends to gather for a private meal in one of their many private cabins.. food is excellent and service is very good. the butter chicken, black dal, biriyani and mixed kebab platter are my favorites. they also offer a chinese menu as well. its a must visit restaurant!!

excellent food, one of the best indian restaurants with incredible service and high standards! even when i wanted to know the recipe for tamarind chutney sauce, the staff was polite enough to ask the cook himself to come over to our table !!! we had a variety of dishes all of them perfectly done without having to wait long! royal mughal is totally recommended, when we visit al ain again we will definitely go back there for a dinner !

ordered little bit more and had to take away full biryani. :(
staffs are very friendly and attentive.
manchow veg soup 4/5- super spicy and good
assorted veg kabab  4/5 - except cauliflower, all other kebabs are good. 
bread basket  3/5- some of the breads are bit oily, 
paneer makani - 3/5 - didnt like 
bhindi do pyaza - 4/5 - good with mild spicy
veg dum biryani

friendly staff and nice ambience. the food was more spicy than anticipated so if you are sensitive to spices i would recommend that you ask about the dishes before ordering. good flavors though!
