first time eating there..we were taken there by friends.

loved the food, theservice, the staff the manager mr.john assey very very nice polite gentleman; gives excellent recommendations on what to order & eat...very obliging as well happy to spice up dishes as you require even introduced us to the chef even though they closed they let us finish our dinner & then leave..not once were we told they that they are closing,closed, last order etc

soo enjoyed the food.. we did a panner platter and chicken 65 it was too delishhh by the time main course arrived we had no space it came do quick we hogged as fast as it came...ended up doing a take away of the hyderabadi dum biryani and the chicken masala and lentil curry and naan..

great place located in the new section of al ain mall, with private cabins and a bell!! hahahah

visited 2 days back after a really long time because we did not have a good experience earlier. ordered chicken lollypop and paneer tikka for the starters and kadai paneer, butter naan and potato kulcha for the main course. their quality and taste of food have improved since the last time we visited. the staff is friendly and helpful. theservicehas become faster than before. overall, we enjoyed our experience and there is a good improvement in the restaurant.

one of my favorite dining experiences were at this restaurant. always freshly made and served chinese and indian food items are served at reasonable prices, punctualserviceand optimal hygienic conditions.

theservicewas also good.
food was good n aptly spiced.

will defitely go back here to try their other items.

a greatserviceand very friendly staff, i’ve been surprised when i saw indian food inside al ain mall and was really happy.the manager is very attentive as well.

i had high expectations from royal mughal however was extremely disappointed in their food. i ordered malai kofta and that was a disaster. with malai kofta being one of my favourites, i know how it is made and it definitely isn't mughal to prepare the koftas with cherries and pineapples. it's anything but a mughal kofta. i know it's a little sweet and in some variations people add dry fruits or cardamom to it but never pineapples and cherries. i wonder if the mughal used it too. upon feedback, the staff tried to defend the dish. inspite of not eating the dish and expressing clearing disappointment, we were charged in full for something that was a fiasco and we didn't eat. expected better customerservicethere atleast or the least could have been an offer to replace the dish. clearly, they're interested in getting business without consideration for any customer satisfaction.

my favorite restaurant for indian food in al ain is royal mughal, located in al ain mall extension. the restaurant has been a part of the al ain dining scene for over 15 years and is a great place for family and friends to gather for a private meal in one of their many private cabins.. food is excellent andserviceis very good. the butter chicken, black dal, biriyani and mixed kebab platter are my favorites. they also offer a chinese menu as well. its a must visit restaurant!!

excellent food, one of the best indian restaurants with incredibleserviceand high standards! even when i wanted to know the recipe for tamarind chutney sauce, the staff was polite enough to ask the cook himself to come over to our table !!! we had a variety of dishes all of them perfectly done without having to wait long! royal mughal is totally recommended, when we visit al ain again we will definitely go back there for a dinner !

met with a long time friend and decided to have desserts. since we were in the mall thought of checking out this restaurant. as soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed at the doorstep by their smiling staff making us feel at home. the restaurant has a great ambiance, well decorated with a calm and relaxing atmospher. the private cabins are perfect for a family visit.

we chose to have gulab jamun and ras malai which average in taste but theservicewas quick.

overall, it's a place worth visiting. i will visit again to try the main course.

just finished lunch! food is really good especially the samosas😍serviceis excellent and cleanliness is also good. a bit pricy though but overall wonderful restaurant.

i ordered the nawabi biryani and it was an terrible experience the rice was still raw and saltless it was felt like a pile of crap put on my plate and the mixed kabab was not cooked properly i am pretty sure they forget to add salt in to each and every thing u order and theservicewas not good .the food we get there is either over cooked or raw . it was totally a crappy experience this place made me hate biryani 😶

had a takeaway delivered over the weekend and was a little skeptical about ordering an indian from a restaurant i knew nothing about. goodservicefrom the manager who assisted me on a couple of items not on the menu, food arrived hot, tasty and on time. slightly expensive but did order tandoori prawns as a main course, excellent kema naan and a friendly delivery guy. would definitely give it another go...

i have visited this restaurant several times since in the last few years, it was then known as dubai mughal restaurant. unfortunately, theirservice& food quality has been on a consistent decline with every subsequent visit.

my last visit of yesterday was a disappointment for a few things listed below:

the paneer in the paneer tikka masala felt like it was uncooked & stale.
we requested for the malai kofta to be spicy but it was as sweet as a dessert.
our request for a lime soda (fastest drink to make after water & soft drinks) arrived after dinner was done.
only saving grace was the cheese roll (starter) which was a good change to the traditional spring roll. description mentioned that this would be toasted but it was clearly fried.

i really hope they take this seriously & improve.

i have eaten here in the past a few times. theservicewas friendly and attentive, and their foods were pretty tasty and full of flavor. would go back the next time i am in al ain.
