we did not find anything special here, it was very average food with high price. butter chicken was kind of without butter and thin curry, seekh kabab jusy full of spices and our stomach was burning for whole night. quantity of dishes is very low so you need to order normally order more roti or rice, staff always happy to upsell and increase your bill. i use to go ghazeborestaurantand it is only 30% of that.

my favoriterestaurantfor indian food in al ain is royal mughal, located in al ain mall extension. therestauranthas been a part of the al ain dining scene for over 15 years and is a great place for family and friends to gather for a private meal in one of their many private cabins.. food is excellent and service is very good. the butter chicken, black dal, biriyani and mixed kebab platter are my favorites. they also offer a chinese menu as well. its a must visit restaurant!!

met with a long time friend and decided to have desserts. since we were in the mall thought of checking out this restaurant. as soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed at the doorstep by their smiling staff making us feel at home. therestauranthas a great ambiance, well decorated with a calm and relaxing atmospher. the private cabins are perfect for a family visit.

we chose to have gulab jamun and ras malai which average in taste but the service was quick.

overall, it's a place worth visiting. i will visit again to try the main course.

friends, please bear with me this time as it’s gonna be a long and sweet review, because this place is worth eating and writing at length about it so other foodie mates know what they have.
to start with: let’s talk about their location and ambience first. the restaurant, which is part of a group of restaurants spread across uae, is located on level 1 inside al ain mall, kuwaitat. the moment you see thisrestaurantfrom a distance, you could make out it’s true to its name. royal moghul, looks amazingly royal at entrance itself. beautifully decorated and crafted interiors and exteriors. when you get inside there are elegant private rooms/cabins and also open food areas, depending on your choice. the ambience is so perfect that i wanna give 7 stars out of five!
now, the real part, the food: i was surprised to see their menu as the prices are really affordable and i can bet you in this, the place offers the best dining experience in town coupled with value for your hard earned money. we ordered corn soup, chicken 65 and mix platter as a starter. the chef appears from the royal moghul lineage it seems, as the dishes were all delicious and tasty, that finger licking experience that i rarely talk in my reviews. the main course we ordered roghan gosht, dal tadka and mix vegetable curry along with butter naan and biryani. believe me folks, not only it’s perfect taste wise but also their portion size is really good. so if you’re those “little eater” group then be cautious about your orders and if you’re that my type, “heavy foodies” you’ll love their huge portion sizes at the best prices they offer. my daughter and niece ordered couple of customized juices, which were fantabulous too. we were so full and satisfied that we couldn’t order any deserts, due to lack of gastric space you know.
about their staff: they are extremely professional and highly well trained and ethical as well. they ask you about your feedback of the food served and also to suggest if there’s any possible improvements. this part i liked the most.
so, honestly, i would strongly recommend anyone visiting al ain, not to miss this golden opportunity to have a royal dining experience without really burning your pockets 😊.
satisfaction guaranteed!

had a takeaway delivered over the weekend and was a little skeptical about ordering an indian from arestauranti knew nothing about. good service from the manager who assisted me on a couple of items not on the menu, food arrived hot, tasty and on time. slightly expensive but did order tandoori prawns as a main course, excellent kema naan and a friendly delivery guy. would definitely give it another go...

i have visited thisrestaurantseveral times since in the last few years, it was then known as dubai mughal restaurant. unfortunately, their service & food quality has been on a consistent decline with every subsequent visit.

my last visit of yesterday was a disappointment for a few things listed below:

the paneer in the paneer tikka masala felt like it was uncooked & stale.
we requested for the malai kofta to be spicy but it was as sweet as a dessert.
our request for a lime soda (fastest drink to make after water & soft drinks) arrived after dinner was done.
only saving grace was the cheese roll (starter) which was a good change to the traditional spring roll. description mentioned that this would be toasted but it was clearly fried.

i really hope they take this seriously & improve.

it’s a goodrestaurantlocated in the mid level. we wanted
to have some good indian food so decided to pass by this place. we entered and
seen the good ambience i found the seating arrangement good for the two of us
to be there. we order drums of heaven for starters and panneer butter masala as
main course with naan. the drums of heaven are by far the best i have tasted so
far in all indian restaurants at al ain. the panneer masala was good also.

over all it’s a good place to visit if you want to have indian
food when you visit the emirate.

i used to visit thisrestaurantin the al ain mall and always thought it was just above average, but i had a meal here last week with my family and it was perfect
the staff is always very polite and warm, and this time was no different
the manager was warm and effusive and our server, vikas, was extra accommodating and quick. the private room they accommodated us was clean and had a good ambience.
the food was exceptionally good, starting with the tomato soup, thought the standard sweet corn chicken was too full of cornflour
the kebab platter was juicy and flavour full and the naans soft, even without butter
my favourite was the hong kong lamb, which had really excellent cuts of meat , sliced just right
all in all, an excellent meal

the staff, is nice, polite, etc. the food tastes okay, the ambiance of therestaurantis good, but none of that can make up for the terrible quality of service. the food takes ages to come out, and when it does come you will be lucky to get two dishes at the same time. when i visited, the staff brought food out one dish at a time, and forgot to bring other things.

i'd give thisrestauranta miss if i were you.

as arestaurantat the mall, id say they are doing pretty well though they can do even better. the staff is really friendly and informative too while the ambiance is simple. the menu is plenty, id reccomend the sesame covered shrimps, their curries too are favourable.

fancy interiors . fantastic location . average food and poor service. this is what sums up therestaurantin al ain mall.

manchow soup was served without fried noodles . it came good 45 min later after 7 reminders. chicken in the biryani was not fully cooked.
chicken chatpata was not at all spicy, forget tangy. overall very mild food.
mix veg was good.
