flour tortillas tasted like store bought tortillas, not very professional at all.. took my daughter, who was visiting from rhode island to rosario's, the margaritas were very good, but the flour tortillas didn't taste home made to me at all. too bad, the place is nice and the food is good, they should have a lady making home made tortillas to compliment the food...

chicken enchiladas. i had some rolled corn tortillas stuffed with shredded chicken and topped off with a refried bean sauce and that was topped off with a a little bit of chorizo and then white mexican cheese sprinkled on top to this. it was declicious. forgot the name of the dish but i came home and made it during the week and it was so good.. their slasa and chips are so delicious and the wait staff is very attentive.greatplace to go.

very good hipster/modern tex-mex with traditional style dishes as well as some nice reinterpretations. ten years ago this would be a very trendy culinary spot. now it's just agreatneighboorhood restaurant and well worth the stop if your nearby

i first dined here years ago and decided to see how things have progressed. i would classify this new tex-mex cuisine. emphasis is on healthy and fresh ingredients. menu items highlight vegetarian and gluten free choices. all signs were positive for agreatmeal. execution in cooking, however, is everything. i had the rib eye and it seems that beef is not their strong suit. rib eye, when true ribeye and not the chuck alternative is usually flavorful and tender. not this ribeye. the rub and marinade were good and obvious but they could not mask an inferior cut and grade of beef. this fault alone, since it is the main course, puts rosario's in negative territory. the side enchilada, however, wasgreatand probably indicative to stay away from the meat dishes. all sides, as a matter of fact, were outstanding. so a near miss. on my initial visit i would put rosario's at 5 stars. this time that are 2 out of 5. too bad.

huge, fun and busy.greatfood. salsa is awesome! chips could have been more warm when at the table.

the spinach enchiladas were amazing and the top shelf margarita was top notch!

they are a massive restaurant but busy all the time so time your visit right.

solid food. rosario's provides an entertaining dining experience. as soon as you enter the restaurant especially at night, you are overwhelmed with all the happenings such as the salsa dancing, live band, the bar, or all the patrons at the restaurant. i've been several times. if you don't mind paying $15 for the grande patron margarita, get it. it tastes amazing and you will feel it. the shrimp nachos would make a perfect pairing as it has ample shrimp withgreatflavoring. the chie relleno de pescado was outstanding. my favorite was the sauce that accompanied it. i do enjoy the fish tacos here too although they are not the best in the city. the fajitas are equally tasty. there is a tendency for the flautas to have a burnt look to them which certainly doesn't taste good on the outside. the rice isn't as moist as i like but the beans are good. i love love the chips and salsa. best in the city!

oh man that was good.... hat tip to stay thirsty, he gave the go ahead for thisgreatmexican place a few months ago.greatneighborhood place in a historic building south of downtown/riverwalk area. guacamole, salsa and chips to start (de riguer but very tasty), a michelada (beer bloody mary) for a little spice. i had the mollejas a la plancha (veal sweet breads in a stewed tomato sauce) which now tops my list of best mexican foods ever stuffed in my face... absolutely fantastic, crunchy, creamy, dense, delicate, etc., etc. my wife had the fish tacos which were superb. interestingly, my sons kiddie enchiladas were freaking excellent, best enchiladas i've ever tasted. all in all, it's wonderfully located, the service, staff and food are top-notch and they have a heart felt local following that will recommend it to guests, out -of-towners and friends.

being a lover of mexican food and while in town on business, hotel mentioned rosario's as a must do and we were not disappointed.

a short trek from the convention center area of town (fun to scooter over), very open dining room with old time chairs and tables.

the chips and salsa weregreatstarts with blended margaritas alongside. had the shrimp nachos to start things off and they were amazing. entree pola maria was fantastic, as well as the flautes.

service was excellent which complimented the outstanding food and beverages. the salsa was so good the server packed a to-go container with chips for our hotel room.

highly recommend!

long wait but well worth it. this place is fantastic. on a friday night, the wait for a table for 2 was about an hour, but i'd never been to rosario's before and i was willing to wait it out given all the high praise the place gets. in the meantime, i walked over to the tower of americas and back and arrived back at the restaurant just in time to claim my table. i ordered the pollo a la maria and i've never had anything like it. marinated and cooked to perfection and had sort of an indian flavor to it. we also ordered ceviche, chorizo quesadilla, and albondigas (meatballs) for appetizers. i didn't care much for the albondigas but the ceviche and quesadilla were really good. my meal was supposed to come with tortillas and the waiter did indeed bring out a container for them, but it was empty. it was pretty funny actually, so we laughed it off and didn't bring it up with the waiter. we weren't hungry enough to eat more than one anyway. otherwise the service wasgreatand the atmosphere was very nice. maybe a touch too loud. there was a live band playing but they weren't cranked up to 11 at least. i highly recommend rosario's if your evening isn't on a tight schedule.
