mixed feelings. went here for my birthday in april. service was great the food hadgoodflavor but i didn't like that i ordered the spaghetti but it only comes with angel hair pasta ... i don't like angel hair pasta but i tried to eat it b/c the sauce and meatballs hadgoodflavor. we'll be back, i just won't order that particular dish ...

the regular menu usgoodand surprisingly affordable given the location,goodwine selection and bar as well. added bonus are the montly wine dinners. chef kevin hawkins puts together great 4 course menus paired with delicious, unique wines.

awesome sandwich. ate lunch here with my daughter this past friday. had the lunch special, which was 1/2 sandwich with your choice of either a cup of soup or salad. i chose the roasted eggplant sandwich, which was exceptional. the bread was crisp and delicious. if it wasn't made in-house, then it totally fooled me. the eggplant was roasted to perfection, with melted mozzarella on top. i had the side caesar salad which was good, but a bit too much dressing for my taste. it was dripping with it. service wasgoodand the prices fair. while we were seated next to a large table of 8 overly loud middle-aged women and could hardly carry on a conversation, it was not romacelli's fault that these cackling hens had no manners. i will be back to try other dishes.

one of the better places for dining outside in lafayette, particularly at lunch. plenty of tables on front patio in river ranch. food isgoodthough not fantastic - nothing super exciting. we enjoy: grilled tuna salad, feta cheese rolls, turkish flatbread, margherita pizza and the mahi mahi over cous cous entree.

it's nice to see the menu change, more salad options and more traditional italian dishes. new calamari app wasgoodand although they said they didn't change the pizza it taste better the last two visits. i recently tried the new flat bread pizza i had it on wheat but i was not a huge fan but maybe it's because of the wheat?? another positive is they now are telling you what the special of the day is.goodchanges!!

i must admit i eat here often due to convenience and the outdoor seating. the pizza is prettygoodbut after all the times i had been here i just found out they have nightly dinner specials and i am left wondering why i didn't know this? i think the menu needs a change possibly add calzones or inform patrons about there specials so there is some kind of change with the menu.

very nice place to eat, food verygoodand location of course. however, when i make a reservation a week in advance i expect the hostess booth to sit me in a nice spot..... not a two seater against the wall.

i enjoyed my salad, and the waitress was friendly. fresh-tasting food, but the focaccia that everyone raves about was flavorless--no salt or herbs. that was my only complaint. it's very tasty food, andgoodquality for the money.

very, very good. there's nothing like sitting on the patio at romacelli's on a beautiful la afternoon enjoying agoodlunch!

since reopening after remodeling, not much of a change other than decor. new bathrooms, expanded floorplan, new paint, but same menu and still nothing on draft. i was expecting more of a change, but it was prettygoodbefore.

decent place. it's a nice place for lunch or dinner. sit outside when you can, sometimes there is a "dirty dishrag" smell in the dining room - must be the carpet.

come for the atmosphere and stick around. summoned to lafayette for a recall for my car, we were going to head back to rumba, only to see that it closed when we searched for its hours. so, we targeted this place for something new, especially since we both have not had italian in forever.

gorgeous little place, near the pinnacle of modern, functional, minimalist interior design. i was relaxed even before the bottle of wine.

it wasgooditalian...not knock your socks off, but good, and moderately priced. flatbreads are true to the style and done well--of course, you better like bread if you grab one (which you should, because the bread is delicious!). fresh salad with an intruiging take on caesar dressing. i had the lasagna for dinner, massive chunk that came out lukewarm. sent it back to be heated...the waitstaff handled the situation masterfully. got it served back to me by the manager with an apology. the lasagna needed ricotta, but otherwise it was fine with the proper self-seasoning.

tiramisu was not what i expected, but it was very likable. light on the espresso with a custard that was twice as rich as average. remember that if you order it! washed everything down with a free drink (or, rather one the bartender "mistakenly" made) for the inconvenience...thanks guys! immaculate building, great people, solidly executed food--well worth the price of admission.

dinner a+. took the wife last night for first time. was asgoodas 1st lunch experience. we had mediterranean humus(fabulous). i ordered a small chicken garlic pizza (good), and she had:
fresh garlic, mushrooms and spinach, in a garlic cream sauce, served over marinated chicken. (she raved about this dish). we will be going back again soon

amazing. went today for lunch. had mediterranean humus, probably the best i've ever had. it was different than zeas or anywhere else i've had. fresh cucumbers and tomatoes within, did it justice. the sea salt bread sticks that come with it went perfectly with the humus. had the cajun chicken pasta and it was also very good. they also have agoodsweet tea. i didn't experience the "dirty dish rag" smell others have spoken about or the fat, sweaty man at the bar. i would recommend for others to try. very enjoyable! prices very reasonable.

shrimp pizza- yummy. we just got back from our first trip to cafe roma in river ranch. we had a entertainment passbook coupon and ordered two large pizzas: shrimp and cajun spice
we were not disappointed! we thought they were both very good. the shrimp is in a white sauce and the cajun spice was in a red sauce. the only thing i would change about the shrimp pizza is to not add whole toes of garlic. at least half them-i love garlic but i could see where some would not like the large intact chunks. the shrimp on the cajun spice has a great spicy rub that was delicious. next time i will order the shrimp pizza but see if they will substitute for the spicy shrimp that is on the cajun spice pizza.

hidden away. agoodhidden italian restaurant. one of the better eateries located in river ranch. the prices are reasonable and the portions are good. the crust here is the bready type and there aren't any options for thin or pan. the sandwiches and pasta are all very good. i've had one incident with a bad waiter, but that was over 2 years ago and hasn't happened since.

great for outside. we like to dine outside -weather permitting. my go-to entree is the oven roasted tilipia. lemon drop martini is pretty good. tiramisu is really really good, very big, enough for two. they have a tuna appetizer that is agoodsize for a table to share. lots of bang for your buck. two people could easily eat here for $30.
