mixed feelings. went here for my birthday in april. service was great the food had good flavor but i didn't like that i ordered the spaghetti but it only comes with angel hair pasta ... i don't like angel hair pasta but i tried to eat it b/c the sauce and meatballs had good flavor. we'll be back, i just won't order that particular dish ...

the regular menu us good and surprisingly affordable given the location, good wine selection and bar as well. added bonus are the montly wine dinners. chef kevin hawkins puts together great 4 course menus paired with delicious, unique wines.

disappointment. went here the other day and had a muffaletta and i was kind of disappointed.....it was just mostly bread and kinda dry.

awesome sandwich. ate lunch here with my daughter this past friday. had the lunch special, which was 1/2 sandwich with your choice of either a cup of soup or salad. i chose the roasted eggplant sandwich, which was exceptional. the bread was crisp and delicious. if it wasn't made in-house, then it totally fooled me. the eggplant was roasted to perfection, with melted mozzarella on top. i had the side caesar salad which was good, but a bit too much dressing for my taste. it was dripping with it. service was good and the prices fair. while we were seated next to a large table of 8 overly loud middle-aged women and could hardly carry on a conversation, it was not romacelli's fault that these cackling hens had no manners. i will be back to try other dishes.

the food was tasteless. service was slow even though the place wasn't busy. prices were fair but food didn't measure up. considering the number of italian restaurants in the area i don't see them surviving if the food doesn't drastically improve.

mediocre food. our server was either inexperienced or clumsy, but she was very nice. atmosphere is decent here. there's nothing especially notable about this small chain restaurant.

the stuff. meatballs are delicious. do not order the peach cobbler dessert or the spinach and artichoke appetizers. they are gross like eating baby food. go to mellow mushroom for the spinach and artichoke dip.

finding a special restaurant in the south is always tricky on a sunday, since some are closed. in addition, there are several highly rated restaurants in lafayette that serve only lunch, not dinner, making it even trickier to find sunday dinner. i wanted to try something that was not seafood based, and i happened upon romacelli, which is part of an upscale housing and small business planned community.

on 9-4-2015 we ordered red wine. much to our surprise the wine temp was warm like around 85 degrees. i asked our nice waitress jade to go get the manager so i could suggest ways to serve the wine cooler. well the manager never came after 2 requests
so if you like warm red wine go to romacelli

horrible management. food and atmosphere are good, but this place has changed a lot in the past two years. i go here pretty often and almost every night, the female manager gets drunk at the bar and is almost always wearing inappropriate work attire. she curses pretty loudly too. male managers get drunk when they're there too. if you want to eat their food, order it to go and save yourself the embarrassment of watching the recent managers make fools of themselves.

dinner with family. we have been there a few times and the pizza is to die for!!!. although, we finally get my husband to join the family for dinner there and they seat us next to a large table mixed with kids and party favors. they were so loud we did not enjoy our evening. we had made reservations. wish they would not put a party next to people trying to enjoy a relaxing evening. p.s. food is always good

bad food. i was there last week with 7 ladies. the food was terrible. the soup of the day cracrab and corn was not good. the chicken sandwich was not good. will not ever go back. this was not my first time, before the food was better!!!!!!

well, sat for 15 minutes before being greeted. put in drinks, took 10 minutes to get them. my salad comes out, no silverware. it has been 15 minutes and still no silverware. waiter finally comes back and says silverware is being rolled. he came out about 10 times over the next 10 minutes... still no silverware. we ended up canceling our order and walked out. i don't care how great the food might be. that was ridiculous. and it is 8:30pm on a thursday with 3 tables inside, 3 outside, and one guy sitting at the bar.
