rock bottom restaurant & brewery

we were actually told to avoid this venue by a driver... but the proximity to the hotel and late night hours just couldn't be passed up. we took a table out on the "river" or canal front fairly late in the evening. the view wasgreatwith bar boats going by on this summer night. the beer wasgreatand several in our party enjoyed their desserts... since we had already had dinner elsewhere. we signed up for a discount loyalty card and would have gotten $10 off our next visit, but sadly time did not allow it. it gets busy, so plan accordingly.

stopped here on a thursday.  the wait staff was very friendly and attentive.  everybody in my 7 person group had good food and agreatselection of beer.  make sure if you enjoy beer, to take a flight or two.  i got the buffalo chicken sliders and traded one for a beef slider.  they were great.  **by slider they are basically small burgers, not a traditional greasy slider.

needs better service. 3rd year in a row that i've gone to this restaurant for my birthday. the first year i remember the service was poor when my party sat on the patio to eat. the 2nd year my date and i sat inside and hadgreatservice. this recent time will be unforgettable. i wanted to sit outside, so we got a table with no problem. however no one came to even greet us after 20 minutes. finally my cousin went to the hostess and told them. there was another table next to us whose party was seated a few minutes after we had been. the waitress worked both of our tables, however that second table kept getting service before us, from drinks, to food, to small things such as app plates and condiments. the only reason i keep returning to rock bottom is because i love the food. unfortunately after this past experience i don't think i should return.

good. had the mac & cheese- it was really good. tried the seasonal pumpkin ale and it was also a good choice. tasted the salmon and the flavors weregreatand cooked well. would be agreatplace to go and have beers in the summer- outdoor seating has amazing views.

simply awesome. it was our first visit to rock bottom restaurant milwaukee and we were really surprised to see how nice the ambiance was, specially the riverwalk. the location is reallygreatdue to its river walk patio. we went there on new year's weekend and had a gala time there. since it was so cold outside we could not get the real joy of sitting by the riverside enjoying the ambiance. we spent long time in the patio area by the riverside. it is a nice place to hang out and enjoy happy hour with your friends. the rock bottom is superb, one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had.

great outdoor patio on the river.greatlocation but not much else. the menu includes the standard amerasianeurosouthwest confusion fusion offerings so many chain restaurants seem to cling to. nothing original or outstanding here. the service was slow and inattentive. we've been for weekend brunch and weekday lunches but rock bottom brewery is consistently mediocre - except for that riverfront outdoor seating. visit in summer when you aren't in a hurry and aren't terribly hungry. then order a beer and enjoy the view.

awesome food and even better service. this place isgreatand i will return. had the surf and turf which was great. also had the house rootbeer which tasted very good. check out the posted pix

right on the river.greatview andgreatcuisine. i really enjoyed the brew sampler. really fine brew. the burbounza burger was excellent too! highly recommended.
