i actually really liked tartufo. it wasn't perfect but the food was definitely an above-average experience for me. the service was attentive without being annoying and the atmosphere is lovely.

outstanding!. thank you to our waiter cosimo who made our dining experience so delightful! great suggestions and attention... the food was scrumptious! the rabbit and veal... too good for words... and the fig entree took our breathe away! thank you for one of the nicest meals i've had for a while in brisbane.

amazing service. my husband and i had a wonderful experience at tartufo for lunch yesterday. we thought the degustation was great value for money. but it was the service that really made our visit special. our waiter anthony was simply exceptional. we can't wait to go back.

food was ok, service was professional. tartufo lacks and kind of character or soul. degustation was disappointing. so much potential to get it right.

great food and atmosphere. i really enjoyed the food at ristorante tartufo. tried this place after seeing it in the gourmet traveller list and booked. the pasta and the mains are just really nice. the fitout of the restaurant is great for a special event. i recommend this place to a lot of people now that i've been there. will definitely be going back!

my best dining experience in brisbane in 6 years. the food was delicious, the service impeccable and the price befitting of the dining experience. i can't wait for an excuse to go back!!

great atmosphere, okay overall. been to tartufo about 3 times. not bad, most of the dishes are a little heavy, food not amazing. service okay, not terrible. gorgeous atmosphere.

disappointed. i only write reviews when i love somewhere or really dislike somewhere and i really disliked tartufo. the food as ok. nothing special but terribly overpriced for what is was. however, it was the cronic over service that totally destroyed the evening. i went with 3 people and i think our conversation was interupted every 5 or so minutes with a multitude of waiters asking how everything was, do you want more water, more of this, more of that. it got to a point where we found it funny. i cant bring myself to go back. certainly not worth it.

excellent flavor experience. entree thru to dessert was a flavor smash to the taste buds. well priced. not a traditional massive pasta overload. combined italian flavours with a modern twist to perfection. i will be back...

very yummy, good service, beautiful surrounds, great location. the bill was $200 for a simple evening so quite expensive!! i've had better italian fine dining and at a cheaper price. stil was a good night out but not rushing back.

tart-awful mains. went here last minute without a booking and got a table on a friday night so props for that.
got a prawn bisque amouse bouch which was really nice.
started off with crab soup and porcini ravioli and both were full of flavour and presentation was top notch. the bar was set pretty high and maybe our expectations were always going to let us down.
had the pochetta and the frutti di mare stew.
the pork was over cooked and was a thick cut slab of pork roast u could cook at home served with mustard fruits, really average. now i know why mustard fruits are rarely seen on menus- because their terrible.
the frutti di mare was such a small serve(for $42) and the calamari was practically raw and some of the mussels and pipis served had'nt opened. for the price this was sorry-unacceptable.
had the chestnut dessert and was nice but at $19 was a bit pricey

for fine dining the serving sizes were good(except fruti). overall it was an ok experience. like a lot of these types of restaurants where mains seem an after thought u probably would'nt go back when your paying the kind of stupid money they charge.
atmosphere was good but a bit snoby. if it was'nt for the amazing entrees this could have been a real disaster.

beautiful food.. service needs a little attention. the food was beautiful however the service was a slight let down. different waiters, incorrect cutlery etc. i may sound a little picky here but when you are paying a slight premium, the dining experience must be fantastic. regardless, i will be returning. hopefully next time all will be in order.

most of our meals were of a very high standard. the scotch fillet was a stand out, and was flavoursome and tender. the parpadelle rabbit ragu was also delicately flavoured and very moreish. the service was attentive and very professional. very impressed with the massive improvement on the previous establishment at this location.

the foodie. we found tartufo by chance while looking for a late night cafe and dessert. the panna cotta is spot on and the mille foglie offers a contrast of crunchiness and softness that's remarkable. the staffs are really friendly and i will definitely go back and try the breakfast and dinner menu!
