solid to the core, a rare find anywhere.. there are plenty of restaurants in utah were you can find good dishes, but i've only found one where every dish is good. in over 30 visits, i've never come away from red iguana dissatisfied. the list of recommendations i have for this venue is staggering. my favorites include (but are not limited to) enchiladas suizas, tacos don ramon, pollo a la moreliana, huevos rancheros, and puentas de filete (though i believe this dish to be slightly less refined than blue iguana's rendition of the same.)

excellent mole and we didn't have to wait in line for more than 20 min on a sunday afternoon. it's probably one of the best mexican restaurants i've been to!

awesome. ate at red iguana today for the first time. very fresh and interesting flavors. i had a dish called the "puntas" and it was great. presentation was very well done. portion size was just right. the price was perfect. service was as expected. i will be going back to try more items. some at my table ordered mango enchiladas and they looked tasty.

excellent mole. whenever we pass through the area we ensure we can stop by for lunch or dinner. wish we could get mole like this down in tucson.

was in salt lake city and asked a few locals for a good place to eat- each one highly recommended the red iguana. they were right; great choice. we had to wait about an hour, nothing overly fancy inside (except the great staff) and the food selection, quality and quantity were awesome! best of all, the prices were great, too. now i highly recommend the red dragon, too.

the stuff that dreams are made of!. the mole verde is impossible to beat. the service is friendly, and the prices are right. try to eat here at least once a month.

i've never had a bad meal here. love this place. so much personality, and great food to top it off. usually a decent wait on a weekend but more than worth it. it deserves its reputation.

not impressed. i am mexican food lover. living in a south texas border town for couple years i really got a true taste for mexican tex mex foods. after seeing the red iguana on the food network i just had to try it. i took 5 people with me. my wife, son and i spent $54 on what we al found to be very bland food. the meats were well cooked and tender but the flavors just weren't there no wow factor. i expected to take a bite and be amazed but no luck. a little garlic would go along way. i must say the best mexican i have found in utah is found in heber city just down the from park city right on main street tony's tacos u want a true chili colorado or chili verde that will excite your taste buds thats the place.

best mole in town. red iguana has the best mole in town. be forewarned however, a reservation is highly recommended. they're very popular and their restaurant is small. but trust me, it's worth it.

worth the wait. we knew when we drove up and saw a throng of people outside that this would be something worth waiting for. it was. the mole verde i enjoyed tasted like mother-in-laws, a native of mexico. and the prices were great. we fed three people for $40.
