exceptionally good american bbq. was seriously impressed by the food and fitout. being food snobs from melbourne, we give the peninsula a hard time, but this place really does it right ! other peninsula venues should look at this and take a few tips. people complaining about prices below are massively out of touch, they've probably never ventured past frankston maccas.
the meat fell off the bone, the corn bread was the best i've ever eaten. the servings were generous, and the bustling night time ambiance was great.
yes your sitting in a repurposed factory, yes the heating could be tweaked a little bit, yes there is a kids play corner (better that than them running around), but seriously, overall this place is pretty damn good, and as a former peninsula resident it makes me smile to see places like red gum that have put in the effort and really stepped it up a notch. definitely would return.
