couldnt get pass the poor customer service. on feb 11 i was in that party of 8 and i was disgusted at the lack of professionalism from the owner and her general lack of regard for common courtesy. as mentioned in a previous post our party came in, placed our order, enjoyed each other's company and then was asked to leave. the details are spelled out in another post, i want to hit on the owner. if you had any ounce of common courtesy, professionalism, tact, or shred of decency you would have come to our tables to address the alleged issues you had with our party. instead you opted to stand with your staff by our table and talk about us.... what are we in middle school, going to just stand in the corner and talk about the people in your restaurant? well it was obvious that one member in our party could hear you and i do believe he approached you privately about his concern... you in turn loud talked him and disrupted the entire restaurant. your offer for us to leave, your comment of not getting water on your floor, your assumption that we were not going to pay your wait staff were all insulting. your complete lack of regard for the others in your dining room demonstrated your ignorance and you comments once you opened your mouth confirmed your ignorance.
thanks for covering the bill....we should have however done a collection for you so that you could take some classes and educate yourself on business etiquette, human relations, customer service.
nola has a lot to offer-- we were in heaven-- thanks for the reality check--- unfortunately we had to deal with whatever your issues were that day---not to worry-- huck finn's found us simply delightful and they enjoyed a big tip!!!!
since you were sooo concerned about us tipping you here are some tips
1- don't tell your customers when there is a torrential down poor outside not to get your floor wet-- ( well at least don't just tell the customers of color)
2- stop referencing your restaurant as having sections... or at least narrow it down to 2 -- the balcony and the floor--your not that big-- it is kind of funny
3- stop intimidating your staff
4- have some self respect and maybe you will begin to respect others.
the word about the red gravy is out---you can't fix this--- even if you wanted to -- you can t give us a freelunchor dinner like you did the other unsatisfied customers, you can't give us a discount-- you've done all you need to do for us-- you have made us as committed as ever to take a stand and let others no to avoid the abuse they can get from red gravy!!!!!
