indonesian style angus beef cheek rendang is my top favorite because the meat is very tender, tasty, and a bit spicy. it's good for sharing for 2-4 people depending on their appetites; it's already a lot for 2.

char kway teow is also very much enjoyable if you're in the mood for some noodles with good sauce.

prices are steep and easily noticeable with the beer, but the quality of their food is excellent.

we tried some desserts at red ginger. a restaurant located at city of dreams. we ordered the iced avocado condensada and the peanut. if you're a big fan of peanut butter, you'll definitely get along with the peanut. the name speaks for itself as it has salted caramel peanut butter, vanilla ice cream, and roasted peanuts. the avocado condensada for me was an overpriced halo halo. it's good but nothing special. i'll probably need to try the viand next time. price per head is a minimum of php 500.

visit here during a business gathering. we stayed at nobu and this is one of the restaurant recommended to us by the hotel staff. what i love about the place is that its rustic and the ambiance is good. the interior is eye-catching too. this is not the usual go-to restaurant for me since its kinda costy but still it was a good dining experience

ordered their gai ying chicken and beef satay. the chicken has an explosive flavor and the vinaigrette-like sauce compliments, giving it a much more flavor. the beef satay was tender and comes with 3 sauces that makes it more savory. the place is pricey as expected because it is located at the casino. will come back here if i ever win blackjack again 😂

maybe my taste buds are too loyal with filipino food and chinese food because i didn't like the dishes here.

we ate three courses and i can't even remember the names of it but one thing is for sure, all of it has a strong taste of ginger.

the price is ridiculously expensive too although the ambiance is quite nice, i'll give them that.

bottom line, i won't go back.

it's a good place if you are craving for asian cuisine within a budget. i really love their char kway teow and salt and pepper tofu. it's just that some pieces of tofu weren't fried well. price is okay for its serving and the service is good as well.

i like how refreshing the interior of this restaurant but i wish i can say good things on their food (or maybe we didn’t order the right thing). as we craved for any greasy meat at that moment we opted for their bangkok mini burgers (sliders), the meat is super dry like sahara desert dry, the brioche is somewhat good though but it shouldn’t be the star of this dish.

the coffee is ain't bad though.

the menu is very limited if you like eating good food. i am very choosy when it comes to my stomach because here in the philippines the food has caused many bad experiences. so i finally decided on the burger which is listed as containing spicy angus beef. i don't eat spicy anything and asked to have it made without spice. all i wanted was a plain burger with the tomato. i was presented with a waiver that i had sign that i will accept the product that will be made not according to their process. that is the first time this ever happened to me. needless to say i will never go there again. the burger was ok.

the restaurant is quite spacious and clean. we went there on a weekday, so maybe that's why there weren't many people around. the staff are attentive and polite. we ordered gai yang, honey and tamarind glazed pork belly, and singaporean crispy grouper. i think many of the dishes can be split by two people, unless you have a really hearty appetite. i loved the pork belly! the chicken was also nice, but it wasn't as tasty and juicy as i wanted it to be. my parents loved the grouper.

we had the peanut for dessert; it's basically a ball of ice cream covered in roasted peanuts. if you're already full from the main course, it can be split by three. the sweetness was just right.

i'd go back for the pork belly!

i love the rice that came with their nasi goreng and even the satay sauce is super close to authentic.. serving is big also

grilled pork belly is one of their popular dosh here and no wonder because the meat is cooked in a way that the meat is super tender and the smoky taste i love also

you don't need to go to indonesia just to have a taste of their best dishes cause red ginger can do it for you. all of the dishes that we ordered are packed with strong flavors and if you really want spicy, they can give you spicy.

the price is reasonable in a sense that it is situated inside the city of dreams with all the posh restaurants plus the flavors.

i graded it 4/5 cause of the serving size of some of the dishes but ultimately, the service, ambiance and food are great.

ps: try their nasi goreng!!!! so delish!

my boyfriend and i have dined in here for a couple of times and i never get sick of ordering my favorite nasigoreng jakarta for breakfast! their squid with coriander and kaffir lime leaves is a must try, and their version of calamares, (i just forgot which on the menu it is) oh boy.... so soft and is just perfect for me.. their iced mocha is so rich in flavor that i would choose it over the popular coffee we all know ;)

the staff are very accommodating, and their manager (forgot his name too) is hands on.

it's a bit pricey, but worth it that i always forget the price while savouring my fave nasegoreng.... :)
