dinner service took over 2 hours. this was the longest dinner i have had at a restraunt in a long time. dinner was not bad, but not great either. as far as dessert goes it was horrible other than the berries and plain ice cream that were on the side. i would not recommend this place.

this was such a fun place to eat! expect it to be busy and crowded. there was irish dancing and a delightful live band. someone should teach the band members to smile once in awhile.

i had the stew and the wife had the shepherds pie. both were very good but i would give the edge to the pie. the raglan road stout was excellent if you like dark beers. i tend to like them a bit more flavorful but that's a personal thing. i think most other dark beer drinkers would really enjoy it.

great for lunch, not dinner. my boyfriend & i had our first (lunch) date here 2 years ago. it was alot of fun, the food was great & the environment was enjoyable. for our 2nd anniversary, my boyfriend took me back for dinner. we had reservations, but came in late. we had to wait a bit, but they got us a table pretty quickly. they bring out stout bread with a guiness sauce as a starter - it's really good, though the sticky sauce had been spilled all over our bread & had pooled at the bottom of the loaf due to the waiter trying to carry too many items. we ended up ordering a mixed grill (pretty good) & the shepards pie. the presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately the shepards pie didn't taste as good as it looked - it tasted like overly salted manwich from a can. i couldn't even finish it & i'm definitely not one to let food go to waste. we then ordered the bailey's & creme brulee tart. sounds great, but again a disappointment. i didn't understand why it was called a tart since it looked like & was as large as a slice of cheesecake (though no complaints about the abnormally large size). however, the taste just wasn't there. it really tasted like plain custard in a tasteless crust. had i not read the name, i wouldn't have though this had baileys in it, was a tart or was supposed to mimic creme brulee. regarding the service, as we were dining the waiter was extremely casual and even complained about personal issues to us. i understand this isn't a fine dining eatery, but we were hoping to enjoy a nice night with good service & were really disappointed in both the waiter & food.

in short, i would not recommend their dinner menu, but do still stand by their lunch offerings.

stopped in for the fish and chips, crisp and meaty, not oily as i've found at some places. almost forgot, the house tartar sauce was excellent.
the raglan stout was tasty, as was the red. was very happy with the choice. even decided to try the bread pudding (never eaten it before) and enjoyed that too.

for my meal, i ordered the banger & booz - guinness & onion bangers on mash, topped with caramelized onions & beef stew. i felt like it was good to pick something along with the restaurant theme. the beef stew was delicious, and the portions were so deliciously generous i could barely finish half the plate. it was quite salty, but not in a bad way.

very cool place & great food to boot. what can i say, other than that i wished i was irish when i left raglan road. entertainment was great fun, loved the beer flight and my meal was magnificent!

our sever was genuinely happy to be there and given they were so busy and she had a lot of tables, she somehow managed to keep good tabs on us and do it all with a smile and a great demeanor. very impressed.

the selection of beers, whiskey's and drinks was as expected given the size and type of place it was and i really would recommend the beer flight, great way to sample a series of different beers from around europe.

the food, wow, very good. i was expecting it to be very commercialized and have a franchise feel to it, but i would have been wrong. the food was interesting and thoughtful. traditional irish quisine with a modern take, while maintaining the intregrity of the dish. i had bangers & mash and it was spectacular! my dad had the chef's choice pot pie of the day which had a middle eastern influence and was delicious.

anyone who has not been here should try this place out, very, very good. you will not be disappointed!

i am happy to say we made it. we had booked this brunch weeks ago and didn’t realize it landed on mother’s day. wow! busy day. when the doors opened at 11:03am people were a little peeved. they wanted those doors opened at 11 on the dot. the outside seating is nice. the weather was great today and we had a slight breeze. but we chose to sit inside. nice looking bar. the whole place is huge. the seating is nice and spread out too. you don’t feel crammed into one place near several families. lots of room. nice and sunny day makes the restaurant glow on the inside. people were lined up to get in today. full irish breakfast with sausage, black-and-white pudding, bacon, roasted tomato, mushrooms and fried eggs with roasties. pancakes diaspora. homemade pancakes with creme fraiche, maple syrup and mixed berry compote. eggs benedict – two soft poached eggs on a toasted english muffin with prosciutto smothered in hollandaise sauce and served with roasties. chris was our server today. awesome g

this is a fun place to go to if your in the downtown disney area. it's a big place with a beautiful rotunda ceiling. there are 2 large bars (from what i saw) and a stage. the place seems circular so i would think most seats are pretty good for any shows that are going on. most of the staff that we delt with were friendly and efficient but not irish. started with a celtic martini, very good but not very strong, consisted of bushmills irish honey, rum, pineapple and citrus. dh got a flight of beer. our appetizer of nom nom wings were really good, they are sweet ‘n spicy wings tossed in a honey, chili flake, soy & ginger sauce. they were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. our bread basket was a dark bread, not sure what the bread was but the dipping sauce was guinness, sugar and olive oil. my entree of raglan risotto was creamy and delicious, it had shiitake mushrooms, peas and shaved parmesan cheese, only complaint here would be that some of the mushrooms were a little to chewy and the shaved parmesan cheese was inedible. dh's salmon of knowledge was cooked nicely and the maple glaze on top gave it a sweet, crisp taste, very nice. of course the best part of this place is that at 6pm you get free entertainment with the irish step dancers, they were very talented. wonderful show. there is more entertainment throughout the evening. great place even if your not irish (which i'm not).
note: it surprised me that the ladies room was missing supplies and not very clean. come on disney, get on your game!

disappointing. i'll keep it short! the seating was way too close and i didnt appreciate sitting within touching range of a couple obviously on their first date, awkward!

the food was ok. my husband's corned beef was fantastic, unfortunately my shepards pie was disgusting. i really wanted fish & chips but i'm allergic to shellfish and was informed that the shellfish is cooked in the same oil as the fish and they couldn't prepare it specially for me. kind of a bummer when the entrees start around $20!

the entertainment lasted allof 5 minutes the entire 75 minutes we were there, we couldn't see anything from our seat and the dancer never made her way over to us.

all-in-all it was acceptable but we probably won't go back, because acceptable doesn't justify a $70 dinner for two people!

i had the go (at) fig (ure) salad with chicken. it was really good!! it had been a hot day and we just wanted to get a break from the heat and come inside. it was the perfect retreat. the beer was cold and food delish! great service. we has some friends with us from ireland (and we used to live in dublin) and we all felt that it captured an authentic irish spirit. at least as much as can be expected for a disney restaurant.

we ordered the fish and chips and the fish was "fishy" and the chips were soggy. fun atmosphere with an outdoor seating but with so many choices try something else.

great pub food and entertainment. based on the reviews, we booked reservations here for our first night in town, and we were not disappointed!

note that this venue is located in downtown disney, which as of our visit in may 2015 was massively under construction. do not let that discourage you. as always, disney manages parking and crowds well if you have a dose of patience. give yourself plenty of time to get here, get parked, and get to the location. to be safe, i’d plan 45-60 minutes at the least. if you are early, there are plenty of shops to browse along your way in.

we started with the midlands flight of whiskey and loved it. we knew we would be ordering drinks with dinner, so we shared the flight. a perfect start to our business/vacation.

the entrees we ordered are listed as follows on the menu:

"keen eye for the shepherd’s pie - we give the traditional shepherd’s pie a little makeover with our contemporary twist to this favorite dish

kevin's heavenly ham - irish mist glazed loin of bacon with savoy cabbage, colcannon potatoes, parsley cream sauce and a raisin cider jus."

yes, they give shepherd’s pie a twist, and it is a twist worth taking. the presentation is classy, yet still consistent with the dish’s rustic roots. the flavors are deep and well developed. the person i was with ordered this dish and loved it; i sampled a taste.

i ordered the heavenly ham, which is without doubt the most fully irish option on the menu. i have lived in ireland, and i can vouch for the authenticity. i would note, however, that this dish tasted far better than most i have had in irish pubs. the ham was tender and flavorful, while balanced perfectly with the, yes, yes, heavenly sauces. the sides were spot on, and this is an incredibly filling dish.

we also ordered whiskey cocktails with dinner, and sadly, i forgot their names! i think mine was the whiskey sour and the other one had lemon. if you like whiskey, i doubt you could go wrong with any of them.

we sat on the patio and were treated to a bit of irish music and dance. we took a moment to step inside where they offer more extensive shows. brilliant! grand! we loved sitting on the patio, but if you want the pub experience with entertainment, opt for inside eating. definitely a family friendly venue.

i love the atmosphere and the food. the irish music and design is brilliant, service can vary. i've had wonderful experiences, and only once did i walk away unhappy. this was due to the rudeness of the server, nothing else.
