food is good. the wait to get in isn't as bad as other places. a solid choice for those looking for comfort food. selection of beer is decent. a good choice.

this is one of, if not, my favorite places in downtown disney! the live music is authentic and great in the outdoor patio, and it is the first time i have ever recommended irish food to people (and i'm 1/2 irish). the food is deliscious, but the main draw and item to make room for is the bread pudding that arrives to youe tablw overflowing from a bcket with long spoons for the whole group to share and leaves you feeling like running around with a slap-happy grin on your face screaming "kiss me, i'm irish!" even though ypu may not be and it may not bw st. patty's day!

we have been to raglan road three times (twice for meals, once primarily for drinks), and we have been very pleased with our experiences. although there is a lot of competition in downtown disney / disney springs, every dish we have eaten (with one minor exception) at raglan road has been a standout.

the menu consists of a wide variety of irish pub dishes, dressed up a bit in many cases. it also manages to incorporate florida seafood dishes with irish preparations. the beer offerings are extensive, with many british, irish, and amercian beers on tap.

our most recent trip was for lunch in early august. we had the beef carpaccio and crock o' pate appetizers, and both were outstanding. the beef was especially high quality. for entrees we had the schnitzel savvy (fried ham schnitzel with a fried egg and smoked bacon baked beans -- very irish, very delicious, very heavy) and the cluck curry (the only slight misfire of any dishes we've tried here -- it was fine but lacked the bold flavor you're typically looking for in a good curry). in the past, i remember that the saucy salmon entree is particularly well-cooked and seasoned.  for dessert, we sampled a pair of traditional irish "puddings." the bread and butter pudding, which we've had twice now, is extremely rich but unique and really good. the steamed orange pudding is even better.

another great reason to come to raglan road is the authentic irish atmosphere. the dining room flows between eating areas and numerous bars, all richly appointed with wood. the main dining room is focused on a stage where step dancers and an irish rock band perform throughout the day and night. many of the wait staff and seemingly all the performers are irish. stained glass windows add to the irish vibe. service has always been very competent -- nothing problematic or outstanding about our visits either way.

overall, this is one of the most distinct cultural dining experiences you'll get at disney outside of epcot, and it is well worth a trip.

i'm not sure i understand the high rating for this restaurant. the shepherds pie was terrible...no veggies, just mashed potatoes sitting on a huge pile of ground beef and what tasted like sloppy joe sauce. the fish and chips left a lot to be desired...it wasn't cod or haddock, which is what i would expect. i can't even figure out what kind of fish they used. it was thin and tough and did not have good flavor. if you want good fish and chips at disney, epcot is the place. very disappointed in this place, we definitely won't be returning.

having loved this restaurant as a kid as it was one of my family's favorite places to take out-of-town guests, i had pretty high expectations and couldn't wait to come back and rediscover them all over again. raglan road's rollicking sunday brunch runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and features an expansive menu featuring lunch, brunch, and breakfast dishes accompanied by authentic irish music and step dancers. the combination of the three makes for a lighthearted affair that's sure to please every member of the family.

ridiculous wait time. made a reservation months in advance...was told they were running a few minutes behind ... an hour later still not seated.

a taste of ireland in disney. food is top notch, service is as good as it gets and the bread pudding is deliciously fantastic, one order will feed three.

the service, setting, and food were all spectacular. additionally, the allergy friendly menu and great treatment of guests with special dietary needs is unfortunately hard to come across.

this post is about our first dinner in orlando, which was at raglan road at downtown disney. the first thing that hit me about raglan road, after seeing the pretty irish dancing girls hanging out in the entryway greeting customers that is, was how absolutely packed it was, even at 5:30. due to traffic caused by construction delaying my wife’s sister and brother-in-law, i got to spend a lot of time wandering around the shop just outside the restaurant and worry if we would ever get a table. luckily, though, we were seated soon after they arrived since my wife had made reservations for us. we followed the hostess, weaving our way around a line of i

ihhhrland. beer. mmm. at 4pm on a weekday, raglan road is pretty quiet. right up until the band gets going and the beer flight settles in! we were satisfied with the food but we ordered pretty run of the mill stuff: fish and chips, gratin potatoes, and colcannon soup. the chips are cut as found in ireland and the irish soda bread was good and nutty. a recurring thought during this meal was feeling like a soup and fish replay from rose and crown at epcot. i'd ordered the same things again which actually tasted the same but it served as a good test...both places offer good quality at predictable prices.
