pricey for just the basics, but this is disney.... solid irish pub food, even if it did lean a little towards the bland side. {however, irish/british food seems to be a little bland in general}. portions are more than generous and the guiness-balsamic reduction for the warm bread is very tasty. overpriced, yes, but better than most in that part of downtown disney.

another fun visit. too bad the service here is the pits!! even sitting at the bar where it should be easy to get served but no. still the only place to get decent pate and guinness ribs at though. their halfway to st paddys day celebration was a blast with dancers and fiddlers all night!

always fun. we hit this spot everytime we're in orlando and we've always had a good time. the service can be pretty bad sometinmes, even sitting at the bar the server seems to get lost for long periods at a time. we keep this in mind and order accordingly knowing it might be a wait. they took stella off draft which was a huge disappointment for us.

the guiness ribs are just to die for! sticky and tender. the pate, yes i know, pate?! is so darn good. served with fresh berries and apricots with toasted bread. absolutely delish.

weird thing is if you order food to go they'll bring it to your table and then put it in a to go box as to "not offend the chef" i would think he'd consider it a compliment but whatever.

cute place, gets crowded and loud when the band plays. the irish dancer is way over rated and only comes on for a dance once every two hours or so. we've met lots of new friends here and look forward to returning when we're back in december!

good pub grub. i really liked this place! downfall is their beer selection is limited, even more so now that they deleted stella from their choices. the pate is awesome here ( i know pate?? but it's good) the guinesss ribs are worth fighting over. we always meet some interesting people here too. unfortunately there's one bartender who is so rude to women. he will ask my hubby what he wants before even looking at me, and then, more than once left my glass emply while he got another drink for my hubby, and walked away! hubby had to call him back for chastising.

slainte. irish cuisine has undergone a revolution, all you have to do is take a look at the menu for ragland road. the food is fantastic - from appetizers to desserts. wonderful beers to enjoy with your meal, or at the beautiful bar. lively entertainment to enjoy. i walked around to take a peek at every corner of this beautiful establishment. it has a 19th century feel to it. dark wood, lighting and lots of glass. it has been gloriously rebuilt, piece by piece, from a pub in ireland. doesn't get much more authentic than that.

i love to come here, sit in the bar, get a hearty pint of brew, and eat what i believe to be the best thing on the menu "the bread pudding".

our second trip to dowtown disney and 2nd time at raglan road. several reviews complain of it as a tourist trap but isn't the entire area? of the restaurants available at downtown disney this one is very family friendly, decent food, good beer. i liked that i could share a 4 beer sampler with my wife and my daughter liked the kids menu with real fish and chips -- not the horrible processed fish on kids menus elsewhere. my daughter wants me too add that the waiters are very friendly and kind, the atmosphere sitting outside is pleasant and the live music good too. close enough to ireland for being in florida.

amazing!!. love the food, love the drinks, love the atmosphere. i can't get enough of their little sausage and mustard appetizer. their "it's not bleedin' chowder" is to die for (literally...i am allergic to shellfish but i take my chances to enjoy it!). and hands down they have the best bread pudding ever. if you don't like bread pudding, they will change your mind, easy.

not impressed. i really like irish food. i ate a lot of irish food with my irish friends in nyc. i was really hoping for some really good irish flair. that i didn't get, the decor was really nice and a pleasure to be in. the waitress i had was really good and helped me pick out some awesome apple cider beer. i love beer and if i go to a pub i expect some awesome beer and i got it.
now for the food....what a disappoint it was so bland and had no flavor. i had there meat on a stick(can't remember the name) it had all the meats they cooked steak, susage, pork, blood patty and chicken. all the meat was bland it had no flavor i was disappointed. the potatoes were very good i had that on the side.
so i still had room for dessert and needed something
with flavor in it. i ordered the bread pudding as i don't see many places offer that. i gotta say the bread pudding saved the day. it was the best bread pudding i ever ate(sorry grandma). it was to die for perfectly made and i would go there just for the bread pudding thats how good it is.
so overall the dinner wasn't good and i wouldn't go back for dinner....but that bread pudding i'm sold i'll be eating that very soon again.

you can't help but like it. i've had crap overpriced food, the beer is served in 16oz glasses and is also over priced and the service can be terrible.

the thing that most annoys me is you can go to the chippy next door and get fish and chips, (same size portion) for about $10 but if you eat it in the restaurant it costs you $18! when we queried the server she got very embarrassed.

that said, we still go everytime we're downtown :-~

first, consider this review in context. after all, this restaurant is at donwtown dinsey, which means that the prices are going to be higher than similar irish pubs in lake mary or winter park. for a disney restaurant, this is one of my favorites. disney service is good, as expected, but the food is far better than average. in the land of the mouse, a $15 hamburger is not unusal. so, if you're going to spend that money anyway, why not spend it on some great sheperd's pie, fish and chips, or bangers and mash accompanied by a well drawn guiness? if you're going to eat at downtown disney, you could certainly do a lot worse than raglan road.

typical disney-area prices, but the food is always great.

tourist trap. the positive reviews on here confuse me. this place is a tourist trap and nothing more. the food is bland and uninteresting. the portion sizes are laughable, and the prices are outrageous. similarly, i find nothing authentic about this place. our male server was gracious, knowledgeable, friendly, and hospitable, the outside patio is nice, and the inside decor is rather eye catching.

however, because of the taste of the food, portion size, and absurd prices i cannot see myself going back here. for a more quality irish cuisine dining experience, try liam fitzpatrick's in lake mary or fiddler's green in winter park.

pork and a pint. if you want to know how the disney corporation distills the essence of a traditional irish pub into an experience palatable to a mainstream, family audience, go to raglan road. a hint: less saw dust, spit and despair. nevertheless, it`s still an admirably authentic experience, from the choice of ales to the food, which has a satisfying amount of pork on it, and all of it well-prepared.

all around fantastic!. the food was great and i felt the portions were well scaled...i would rather have a moderate amount of quality food than a ton of subpar food any day of the week, and this place delievered. the chicken liver pate in a crock mixed with wild berries and crusty bread was spot on, the bangers and mash i had was quite good, i live in alaska now and it's been ages since i've been able to have a pint of strongbow cider, and i loved that they had it there....but i think the scene stealer of all the things i had, was the creamed corn that the server suggested i get to mix in with the mash.....heavenly!

boddingtons!. one of the best selections of irish and british ales around. their modern take on the classic shepherds pie cannot be missed. stacked hearty and high, this out of the box interpretation is my favorite shepherds pie around. try to visit when they have live music and dancing.

yep. this place is pricey. go for drinks and bread pudding on any night except for sunday. that's the only day there isn't a band playing.
