reservations mean nothing. i had a 7:30 pm reservation for two, myself and my wife. when we arrived it was very crowded but the hostess would ask each arriving party if they had a reservation or not. if not, then you would have a 1 to 1-1/2 hour wait.
we sat and waited for about 20 minutes. other parties arrived and waited also, but one couple arrived well after us and greeted the seating manager with hugs, handshakes and laughter. they obviously knew each other well.
about tenminuteslater, this couple is being seated !! after another 20 minutes, i informed the hostess and then the manager what had just happened. he responded that he apologized for the delay and would seat us right now. i responded that that wasn't the issue. he had taken his buddy and companion well ahead of all the other p customers. he again apologized and offered us each a free drink or appetizer to make up for the long wait. he still didn't get it.
this seating manager needs to get his act together and respect the advance reservations made by his customers. he needs to stop letting his pals ahead of the line ,doing this right in front of waiting customers, basically saying to all the others,, 'they count and you don't.' we were finally seated at 8:30 p.m. for a 7:30 reservation.

we don't want free handouts offered to us for calling attention to inappropriate behavior on the part of this manager. we simply want this manager to treat all customers fairly and to act in a professional manner.

i would have no idea! this restaurant has a horrible hostess station with an even worse owner. we were told 30minutesand waited over 2 hours before leaving. they kept telling us 3 more people were ahead of us. to top it all off we had a reservation. don't waste your time it can't be that good!

such a disappointing experience. first, even though we had a reservation, it still took us 45minutesto be seated after our reservation time. second, they charged $1 for ice for a drink at the bar (who does that??). third, had purchased a deal through livinf social that they wouldn't accept. i explicitly made sure there wasn't an exclusion for holidays on it before i bought it (we came for valentine's day) and there wasn't. they claimed that the deal excluded specials and valentines day was a "special day". finally, when we finally were seated, it was near the door. the table across from us opened up (because ironically an angry patron got up and left) and we asked the manager if we could be moved. he said yes, but 10minuteslater another couple was seated by the hostess. when we explained that we were told we could be moved there, she response that the owner told her to seat them there. italian restaurants are a dime a dozen on long island, this is one that will never have our business again.

unfortunately what i thought was a great new place has turned out to be just another run of the mill. we made a reservation for easter for our family of 16. when we arrived the table was not ready. they had us waiting for 30minutesmore. the response to our inquiry as to the readiness was callous and dismissive. apparently the owner who was there did not care. when we were finally seated, no apologies were made nor did they express regret. two people at our table got the wrong orders and their corrected food was served after everyone else had finished their lunch. a disaster all the way through. we would have left but knew we would not be able to get a table on such a day. did i mention it was easter??? i would rate this place with an fff. i regret leaving the tip i did!!!! not deserved.

not a restaurant i will visit again. we went to check out this restaurant on a thursday night during restaurant week. after being ignored at the table for 40minuteswe asked if we do have a waiter assigned to our table and after a couple ofminuteswe were told that it was some confusion among the staff as to who should service us. not really a good start to our evening.
the food was mediocre at best. it's been advertised and promoted as real italian cuisine but beside the name of the dishes being printed in italian on the menu, there was no authentic italian dish in sight. the meatball appetizer was tasteless, the mini rice balls were blend.and the main courses came with a garnish of haricot verts and potato croquette. desert was as uninteresting as the rest of the meal.
thursday nights are being promoted as ladies night with unlimited champagne for ladies. the unknown caveat to that offer is that you have to sit at the bar not at a table. we were told that after dinner we could just move to the bar and have the champagne on the house, but as we have our dinner we could not be offered the same. what a ridiculous marketing idea! if we pay for dinner we could not have a drink on the house, but we could sit at the bar all night long and drink on the house without spending a dime.
the place was very noisy(nothing to muffle the sound), tables and chairs somewhat uncomfortable, staff and management not too helpful or customer service oriented.
it is a shame that such great expectations turn into such a disappointment. needless to say we will not return to this establishment.
