ragazzi bistro italiano‎

go for the godfather. i have been to this restaurant a few times now, and have always had the pizza. i tried the restaurant for the first time after reading an article in a local magazine saying it had the best pizza in the city - the godfather.

the godfather was the first pizza i tried at ragazzi, and i have to say it did live up to it's name. the pizza has some italian meats, fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce. it has the perfect amount of spice and the sauce tastes very fresh. the crust is perfect - thin and crisp.

the other pizzas i tried were good, but not as good as the godfather. i have also tried some salads and appetizers. the soprano bread is good, but nothing else i've tried there has been as good as that first godfather.

favorite italian in edmonton. this place has the best tasting pizza and pasta i've ever had in edmonton. other top rated restaurants do not compare with quality and great over all taste. don't listen to other reviewers that say it is bland as i've never once disliked a dish i have had there. every time i try to go for pasta or pizza some where else, i always end up wishing that we went to rigazzi's instead. the service has always been great and totally worth every penny we spend and every minute we wait.

take out is never as good from any restaurant. if you want to eat from a nice restaurant...go inside and sit down. that is how it is meant to be eaten.

be honest. in response to restaurantreview. when you place an order for 12:30, and finally pick it up at 12:52, then drive to wherever you have to go, any type of food, let alone pasta will not have as good a taste as when it's freshly completed. your food was in a take-out container for 1/2 hour!!

we don't mind any kind of review as long as it's truthfully written, not skewed in favor of the complaint.

bland food/poor reaction. we placed an order for take out and all six dishes were pretty bland. the linguine ale vongole in particular was more like linguine in a pool of oil. panini was more like a poorly toasted sub, spaghetti alla carbonara was like spaghetti with a touch of parmesan cheese, etc.

upon following up with the manager response to our feedback was received with little care for our business with no offering to replace the order or incentive for returning to the restaurant. so we will not be eating from there again.

the restaurant was amazing, the pizza was the best in town! excellent food at a great price!!!

amazing italian! slow, but worth the wait for sure.. if you want to have a nice pleasant sit down dinner, this is the way to do it.

expensive procuttio meat with a little cheese and on thin crust. it's perfect. amazing. i have tried to make it at home but it is in no way the same.

i am pretty sure the godfather works in the kitchen.

the pizza is absolutly great, along with soprano bread. service is top notch. perhaps the bad reviews are results of recent expansion. but it seems to be running smoothly. reccomend a reservation.

amazing!! my new favorite place:). this restaurant makes the best pizza ive ever had. the thin crust is absolutely delicious, and their tiramisu is to die for ! and i have no idea what you other people are referring to in regards to "bad service", because i was greeted with nothing but smiles and warm faces from everyone the moment i walked in the door till the moment i walked out. my waitress was extremely friendly and gave us amazing service. i highly recommend trying this place out and i have no doubts it'll soon become one of your favorites :)

best pizza in e-town. this is the best pizza in edmonton hands down. i've read the reviews on service and honestly can say i had the exact opposite of those reviews. i found we were treated very well and they even gave us a on the house cappicino, which might i add was fantastic! i would highly recommend this to anyone... i'm actually craving their pizza as i write this. i just wish they had a location in st albert as well.

service is terrible. we went to ragazzi for a birthday party. our friends all arrived at the time we made the reservation for. i came with the birthday boy about 15 minutes later as it was a surprise. when we got in i asked the host for directions to our table and he told us that we needed to vacate the table in 45 minutes. wow, wicked service.

when we made the reservation we were told we'd have 1.5 hours, not 1 hour. our friends who arrived earlier ordered our pizza when they got there. the pizza took a whole hour to get to our table (when the host wanted us to leave). we finished by 7:30pm and they brought the patrons who would be taking our table to our table and made them stand around us...

the management is absolutely incompetent. the service was slow. and for the price, the pizza wasn't worth it. all in all, i'd rather go to famoso or rose bowl where the service is of a higher quality.

i'll never go to ragazzi bistro again.
