maybe it's just me. maybe i'm just comparing ra against other places i've been, but it just doesn't seem to come up to snuff. the rolls seem pretty small, and the quality of them is par, but that adds up to something i don't expect to pay very much for.
it feels more like i'm paying for the atmosphere than for the food, and i'll take a hole-in-the-wall place where the waiter can't understand english over ra, if it means getting greatfoodat a great price.
that said, ra is chic, and conveniently placed if you're looking for sushi in the scottsdale shopping district.
