whenever we visit ras al khaimah this restaurant is on our top to-do list. amazing ambiance and staff. love the interiors it gives a village vibe. the food is amazing full of flavour. tried their chicken mandi , mix grill , lamb chops, arayes and kunafa. everything was cooked to perfection.highly recommend. worth the drive and money.

among all the chicken mandy that i have tasted, their mandy is the best among the rest especially when the chicken is grilled together with their sauce. i tried a lot before but they didn't satisfy my cravings. would also recommend this.

depends on what you order, some of their food are good and some are average and some are not good and because of this variation in the quality so i give it only 2.5 of 5

nice ambience but horrible service, we didn get served what we had asked for but instead got horrible sweet rice .. n many such blunder happen

we ordered mix grill and rice with chicken both the items were exceptionally good and with every bite you can feel the taste.

overall recommended to everybody, whose got a appetite for some kebabs.

i was a regular visitor of this restaurant since 9 months. today the experience was worse experience. the food is nice as always. the bad experience is from the staff. the cashier was so rude. while talking to cashier about the disputes in the bill, he vacate angry and started arguments with me. and another staff member also joined to fight against me. they were about to hit me. pleas note one other staff so polite and good, even he served tea for me (appreciated) but the cashier and other guy was so rude and has fighting mentality. i always love the food over there. but today’s bad experience made me to decide not to return there anymore. i hope the management will read this and train the staff how to behave. i’m so sad that i will miss the food over there, but such guys are ruining this restaurant. really bad experience 😢.

very good quality and price
my kids love the grilled chicken and the grilled kababs
the lamp with bukhari rice is very tasty
konafa is avarage, kofta with red source is very good
i recommend everyone visit rak to try it

one of the best remarkable mandi restaurant in uae. thanks to zomato review, and it was good.

we ordered mutton mandis and kabab plater was best and delicious.

avacado fresh juice and lime juices were utter failure. not a good choice to order any fresh juice from here.

end session with their sulaimani will be the best finishing.

mutton salana gud taste but full of bones hardly any mutton on the bones
plates were dirty so sent back to be washed again

had an amazing dinner here. my husband had the mandy chicken which was freshly cooked and juicy. i had lamb chops that were cooked to perfection. i will definitely return.

except mandi which may not be that much tasty compared to other arabic resturants, prefer trafitional afghan meat and roti you will enjoy every bit of it

qasr al afghan mandy is an excellent place to visit. we were very hungry. the moments after ordering we were served hot soup and salad. it was much needed and immediately made us happy.
when the food came we were almost full. the taste of food was good.
the interior will really gain your attention. it was very clean. the rest rooms were literally aromatic. stuff was friendly. prices are average.
overall very nice experience.
i would encourage people to visit this place if you are in ras al khaima.

went down to try out some mandi. the restaurant is on the main road from the kfc junction when you're coming in from dubai so its hard to miss with ample parking space. was intrigued to see an afghan take on mandi. the place was clean and had this lovely majlis like setting which show cases a bit of afghan hospitality. along with mandi dishes they also had an array of grills and bbq items.

tastewise i found the soup could do with a bit more spice, however the mandi was nice. moist succulent chicken just how i like it.

definitely a must visit - easy on the pocket and a fine time out. gave it 4 as while the mandi was very nice the soup could've used a little tune up.

one of the best mandi & middle east bbq experienced here.
the food is too good to come here again and again.

the must try items are:

- mandi (with bukhari rice)

- mutton ribs - you will experience like "a never taste before".

- the hraeesa is also very good.

- bbq mix platter

other info:

- multiple seating options like table & ground seating in private cabins.

- there is separate family hall also.

- parking is easily available.

- the traditional afghan look structure will make your dining experience awesome.

- the staff is good & friendly.
