this place has an awesome ambience. i just love the floor seating option. the antique arabic decor on the walls, the classic colored lamps. and excellent staff service. very courteous and quick too.

i guess i had the best mashawi of my life here. all the meats were cooked so soft and succulently until perfection. fresh, soft naan. tried their mandi rice with goat meat and bukhari rice with chicken burnt on coal. both were superb. the mutton was so soft and delicious. even the rice was smelling excellent. the chicken was well spiced up and burnt. the kunafa we tried was scrumptious as well.

although people say this place is rated a bit costly. i think it's all worth the price 😊

very impressed ! so much so that have frequented them 4 times this month ! good for families with floor (carpet) seating booths. enjoy their moroccan tea and take a nap right after

3 star just for food and sitting arrangement only. we take away mandi,madfoon with kabab toward jabal jais. rice given without spones. bread without cover. on spot we cant eat bread. no salat with kabab or rice items. no friendly dealing

authentic arabic cuisine for very reasonable prices.
everything here is served in sufficient portions, from dressings to salads and main courses.
the bread was fresh and very tasty.
meat, chicken, and fish platers, all had a lovely marination, and tasted realy good.
fries were kind of dull and dry, but who visits an arabic restaurant for fries anyway!
we stayed in the families seating area, that had little convenient rooms.
i love the floor seating, so i found that area to be very convenient.
staff were responsive.

we had a big fat family dinner here few weeks ago and i missed my review. this place serves perfect mandy and it is properly clean and neat when it comes to the sitting area with a nice service too. a must try in ras al khaimah if you are looking for mandy.

qazr al afghan mandy was our stop for lunch in rak , though from outside nothing much can be known but the inside of the restaurant was quite impressive with sitting area for families and friends as per your preference. interior of the restaurant was quite impressive with afghani decor . we went for family area with private majlis , it was quite clean & comfortable. for our lunch we orderd chicken mandy , mix grill platter as it was hot favorite there , chicken madfee and for sweets kunafa & sweet dumplings. though we tired mandi in many places so nothing very special about the mandi, it was good but not the best , kunafa which is my personal favorite was quite a turn off as it was hard neither crispy and cheese filling was very less. sweet dumplings were just fine. best thing about this place was the ambience. service was just ok as the ladies who were the severs were very unfriendly and non responsive to your request. mix grill platter was the winner as it was very good soft & tender, khubus & humus which comes with the meal was good humus was good . overall everything was fine not very best though , service was unwelcoming by the ladies & somehow lil rude.

delicious food. family environment. mixed grilled and fish i tried taste so yummy. i had visit this place more than 15 times frkm dubai just to eat this restaurant and experience is always outstanding.

ordered for 4 mandis n got two mandis and 2 bukari rice without consulting with us. they just kept it on the table.
the rice was super oily and tasted plain.

good place to go for a filling meal at reasonable price ! i have tried their chicken grill ,chicken kebab,makboos with fish all were up to the mark! their soup which is complimentary is a good start .the staffs are polite and the ambience is that of traditional afghan culture.

chicken mandi had an awesome flavour and freshness. really like the taste. recommend the harees along with the mandi. hope to open one restaurant in rak city limits.
