just fantastic. kebabs, bukhari rice, hammous stands out. its a must must restaurant for me at-least once a month. ambience is fantastic. lightings are good gives anicelook.

i was recommend this place by a friend, the way she explained her experienced made me eager to try this out.

there were 3 of us, we decided to go for iftar we sat in the designated traditional booths which had seatings on the floor withnicetraditional cushions. the vibe was already a plus, the food tasted goood, every mouthful was a bliss.

we ordered the bukhari (rice dish) which came along with grilled chicken, the portion can feed 2-3 people. we didn’t know that until we ordered and saw the massive portion. this is definitely not my last time coming here. staff wereniceand friendly too

we didn’t get anicewelcome by the person (owner or manager maybe) at the entrance but a verynicewaitress walked us to a family room and we realized how cute the place was! service was very fast, you get complimentary soup, salad and tomato spicy sauce. we got mutabal which was ok (it tasted like there was a lot of labneh in it), then grilled chicken with raisins rice (can’t remember the name). the chicken was very well cooked (not dry at all) and tasty, the rice was good also and a veryyyyniceportion (we had leftovers). the bread was good too. they also gave us complimentary cloves tea at the end, which was yummy and anicetouch. we paid 50 aed (including water and breads) which is a super fair price. we would definitely go back.

it's got a veryniceraised platform where you can sit together with friends — this is very traditional to afghan restaurants. the meat is also fantastic!

verynicefood.. tried mixed kabab and chicken madhbi.. kabab was very nice.. especially mutton kabab.. very polite staffs.. i had a very bad experience of having 2 small stones in the rice they served which causes my teeth to pain for almost 1 week.. so i gave this rating.. everything was good except the stone which they serve along with the rice..

we went with our relatives to this restaurant. niceambiance for a mandy setting. loved and enjoyed the floor seating. we ordered 2 kg mix grill and it was enough for 9 people. soup was complementary. the grill was tasty. at the end they served cinnamon tea which was very good. one of the best restaurant in rak for family.

we had a big fat family dinner here few weeks ago and i missed my review. this place serves perfect mandy and it is properly clean and neat when it comes to the sitting area with aniceservice too. a must try in ras al khaimah if you are looking for mandy.

i was a regular visitor of this restaurant since 9 months. today the experience was worse experience. the food isniceas always. the bad experience is from the staff. the cashier was so rude. while talking to cashier about the disputes in the bill, he vacate angry and started arguments with me. and another staff member also joined to fight against me. they were about to hit me. pleas note one other staff so polite and good, even he served tea for me (appreciated) but the cashier and other guy was so rude and has fighting mentality. i always love the food over there. but today’s bad experience made me to decide not to return there anymore. i hope the management will read this and train the staff how to behave. i’m so sad that i will miss the food over there, but such guys are ruining this restaurant. really bad experience 😢.

qasr al afghan mandy is an excellent place to visit. we were very hungry. the moments after ordering we were served hot soup and salad. it was much needed and immediately made us happy.
when the food came we were almost full. the taste of food was good.
the interior will really gain your attention. it was very clean. the rest rooms were literally aromatic. stuff was friendly. prices are average.
overall veryniceexperience.
i would encourage people to visit this place if you are in ras al khaima.

went down to try out some mandi. the restaurant is on the main road from the kfc junction when you're coming in from dubai so its hard to miss with ample parking space. was intrigued to see an afghan take on mandi. the place was clean and had this lovely majlis like setting which show cases a bit of afghan hospitality. along with mandi dishes they also had an array of grills and bbq items.

tastewise i found the soup could do with a bit more spice, however the mandi was nice. moist succulent chicken just how i like it.

definitely a must visit - easy on the pocket and a fine time out. gave it 4 as while the mandi was verynicethe soup could've used a little tune up.
