many times requested for a bigger bag that will cover the paper wrapped bread. but received in a small bag with the paper torn and bread exposed

could have done the packaging differently. it was very soggy and didn't feel like having a fritter at all.

pumpkin tales is hands down one of the best restaurants in the city! there’s something about the receipes, the quality of ingredients used or just the smiling service that completely changes the ball game for dishes that’s served!

i absolutely love their breakfast menu, and their eggs benedict and kaya toast has very special place in my heart! every bite is a flavour bomb and truly shoots waves of happy hormones down the entire body!

you’ve to experience it to know i’m not kidding. food coma guaranteed.

also, i love the fact that their menu has ample veg and non veg options - ensuring there’s something for everyone!

while the food pricing may seem to be a little on the expensive side, trust me when i say it’s value for money. the quality of ingredients, the portion size and the flavour bombs ensures you leave with a happy tummy and a happy soul!

must visit place .. awesome and fast service . the only drawback i felt was the restroom and wash area. was literally stinking.

coming to the food , ordered bimbimbap, wonton soup and strawberry parfait.. the soup and bimbimbap were out of the world . would definitely go back for the soup . the parfait was bland and i really didn’t find it tasty. pretty good service. a bit on the costlier side but worth the money

delay delay in service. you get your food one by one over span of 2hrs. they forget the pending orders after 2hrs. horrible experience

this review is only for the bakery. went in because of the rave reviews....picked up vegan focaccia, croissants and the sticky buns. the vegan focaccia was good. but the sticky buns and croissants were a total disappointment. the sticky buns, cinnamon roles with a caramel, nuts sauce, was a huge letdown. the roles didn't have any of the texture you find in cinnamon roles...they were actually dried out. the topping though was divine. same goes for the croissants...looked fine...but first bite and it was too dry. really disappointed. but maybe i caught them on a bad day.

extremely overrated!!

i happened to visit this place on a sunday evening with my family of 4, booked my seats and was there on time. it took a solid 15 mins before they served you water and took your order and another 40 minutes before they served soup (pumpkin soup and fennel tomato soup) which was supposed to be 1 by 2 apparently they gave me 1 full soup. their appetisers which is titled “small bites” sure goes by its name wrt the portion served vis-à-vis price you end up paying. followed by the entree’s were thai green curry, veg pizza and a veg pad thai. it took a solid 35-40 mins and from soup to entrees were all served at once. irony is they identify themselves as gourmet.

we were extremely hungry and apparently gave another order for a extra rice and thai curry and after 15 mins we came to know that the order was not placed. the last nail in the coffin. i’ve asked for a bill and literally was waiting to leave this place. the owner herself has understood the situation and acknowledged the bad service.

after paying ₹2100 to them, i apparently have to visit sangeetha hotel nearby to fulfil my hunger. i wouldn’t ask you not to visit this restaurant, i can only speak for myself. i’ve made up my mind never to step inside this place another time, even if someone is paying for.

tucked inside a small street in alwarpet, pumpkin tales is a cozy restaurant with good food and great ambience.
ordered a sweet potato corn patties,a mocktail and grilled chicken pizza.the food is great except the pizza is too buttery for our palates.
the place follows all covid precautions and price is pretty decent.

pumpkin tales has always been a family favourite. their pumpkin soup is out of the world and so was their rainbow pasta. however my most recent experience was not as good as the rest.

usp: they keep switching up their menus as per the seasonal ingredients which makes each visiting exciting.

•we ordered sesame chicken bits as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious! balanced yet zingy, it was a burst of flavour with a concentrated sauce that made you go back for more.

for main course, we ordered their mee goreng and chicken steak.

•as for the mee goreng, the balance was off. it was very ketchup-y and could only taste a hint of the kecap manis. as a result it didn't achieve the sweet and savoury balance. there were also a lot of tomatoes taking away from that glazy sticky texture that one expects of a mee goreng

• the chicken steak comes with a side of cauliflower rice and mushroom sauce. the chicken itself was beautiful however the mushroom sauce was the exact opposite. a sauce such as this must be rich in flavour and velvety from all that cooking down. however the on we received was mostly thickened from an excess addition of starch and lacked depth. it felt like a sauce made out of cubes and that was a slight disappointment.

overall, out of my four visits this is the only time when pumpkin tales had let me down. however this was my first visit after almost a year and a half.  i felt like the prices were too high for what i received. it was an above average experience but not satisfactory as per usual/before. hope they can improve!

this place is about 16km away one way from my place but i visit this place at every available opportunity for breakfast. one of the top reason being the timing. one of the few breakfast place which actually opens at the time for breakfast. the spread is one of the best. must try- konjee, meat lovers omlette, cheese toast on sourdough bread, salmon benedict, breakfast hash and i could go on and on. if this was any nearer to my place, i probably would have had all my meals there. i couldn’t love this place more. the decor is gorgeous with a cheerful vibe. they also have a keto friendly menu. if you are into breads, don’t forget to check out their bakery at the ground floor. i wish they open more venues and one close to my home 😊

ambience:
beautiful place with lots of natural lighting and comfortable chairs.

order: congee chicken (inr 375++)

a huge bowl of rice porridge loaded with shredded chicken, mushrooms, golden fried onions, shallots and peanuts.

the crispness of peanuts and onions worked perfectly in sync with the crunch of the shallots against the succulent chicken. the concoction worked brilliantly for me that though i became all huffy-puffy half way through the bowl, i took my time and ate the entire portion.

total bill came to inr 1097/- with another portion of the chicken congee and a mocha smoothie.

service: quick and efficient

staff: courteous, friendly and well informed.

ps: the baked goods display cabinet in the gf bakery was inviting with drool worthy pastries that i felt guilty for even stepping in there.

thought of having a vanilla bean cheesecake and it turned out to be bloody good! it's as good as the one you can expect from sandy's with a hint of vanilla. i loved how they gave the topping separately. the chicken bibimbap tasted great too!

went here for the first time after the lockdown. not many people for dining at 4-5pm. they have good collection of bakery and pastries.
i ordered chocolate eclairs and a cafe mocha. both tastes very good. but the quantity of their hot beverages are very less. their menu seems like there’s something for everyone and every cuisine. good spot for vegan and asian cuisine.
