theshrimpand grits were amazing and the rum runner frozen drink was awesome too. the prices though are outrageous. i understand seafood is normally expensive, but $23 for a fewshrimpand some cheese grits. don't get me wrong, it was good but the prices are the only thing i'd complain about. the service was good and they seem to cater to children which was a plus.

the grilledshrimpwas a great portion and tasted great. i'm not sure it's worth $19 but it's the beach. theshrimppo boy was good. i was going to buy at shirt but for a toddler shirt it was $18. overpriced but the location is great. it's right on the beach.

lots of fried food that all tastes the same. we were very disappointed in the food and the waitress brought out chicken instead ofshrimpto one of our kids and insisted that is what we ordered and would not change it out. over $100 for 5 and a newborn for lunch. long john silvers would have been about $20 and probably tastes better. not sure eating on the beach was worth the price.

tourist attraction for sure. great service, food came quick, jumbo friedshrimpwere yummy!! would get them again.

on the beach....quite literally! at 9:00 pm the live music starts in the separate-detached bar area. the bar area features several frozen drinks by fat tuesday. the atmosphere was loud but friendly. many children with parents were waiting for a dinner table (1:15 minute wait arriving at 8:20 pm). the chips/salsa/queso was okay but costs $12. the frozen drinks were good at $10 for 16oz with free souvenir cup. live music was country. the service was fast and surprisingly great considering the large crowd (thanks tia) we were seated after an hour wait (as warned). we opted to eat outside on the covered pier-like section of the restaurant. the food was good but not great......way overpriced but the view made up the difference. also, while in the restaurant area you cannot hear the bar area and the noise fades into the surf. i ordered fried oysters (an admitted weakness). 13 for $24 with no substitution options.....hush puppies are an additional $3. the tarter sauce andshrimpsauce are prepackaged ken's steakhouse brand. they were small but not over cooked. i think the oysters, fries, and corn on the cob were all previously frozen.........definitely not fresh. my daughter had the caribbean salad (featured in pic) and my wife got the seafood cobb salad. the tomatoes and cucumbers were not fresh but they enjoyed the rest of their meal. again, i must say the waitstaff was great! fast and friendly service considering the sheer volume of people at this rather large restaurant, thanks mayo! the location and service bring the score here up to a 3.0. my recommendation, come here for the view and order rum runner and a burger. save your $$ for real / fresh seafood elsewhere and enjoy the outstanding view.

after two attempts to get supper or at least drinks here, one with a 1.5 hour wait and another with a "lot full" sign, we hit the sweet spot by going right when they opened for lunch. great table right at the end of the pier---beautiful view! the service was very good, and we loved the drinks, which are a pretty good deal considering the size and souvenir cup. my husband loved his mahi mahi blt, and my friedshrimpwere good enough, but i doubt we'll come back for more than drinks.

this our second time here while on our vacation. another non disappointing visit. the service was excellent and the food on point. the drinks were great as well. my wife loves her seafood n she ordered theshrimpdinner fried . she loved them so much she ordered it again on this visit. we're from louisiana and know how seafood should taste n they deserve this 5 star. 4/18/16

waste of my money. theshrimpwas like what you get in a school cafeteria.

i was in panama city beach for the triathlon in november and had lunch there. i had theshrimpskewers with seasonal vegetables and corn on the cob with key lime pie for dessert. exceptional!!!! the food and service were remarkable. return visit?? yes indeed!!!

loved it!. this was my first trip to pcb and all i heard from friends or family who has been here was to be sure to go to pineapple willy's. i really enjoyed sitting outside and eating on the water. my husband and i gotshrimpfor an appetizer and it was so good and crunchy. only negative is that it was a bit expensive, but we were prepared for that and expected that, but it was good food, very nice waitress and would go back any time!

i got the grilledshrimpit was good as long as you kept it in the cocktail sauce, and the corn on the cob wasn't any good. i paid $60+ for two people to have two small daiquiris and two meals. no bang for the buck

we enjoyed our meal at pineapple willy's. the drinks were very good. we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach. the fried white cheddar cheese curds were very tasty. the fried mahi-mahi basket was also very good and the fish tasted very fresh. the friedshrimpand the oyster po-boy sandwich was also good. good atmosphere and the service was good.

peel um and eat um shrimp. overall, pw's was a good dining experience. the wait was only about 30 minutes and once seated the food was promptly served. the peel um and eat emshrimpwas excellently spiced and was the best that i've had in a long time.

not to sound pretentious, but as someone who works for tips i'm very, very pro-server and can look past many things and still tip well. but when my server checks on both tables around me multiple times before asking if i need a refill, i tend to get angry. not to mention that my table was right beside the gossip corner where all of the busboys and hostesses gathered to whine and complain. besides that, myshrimppo-boy was excellent, while my wife's grilledshrimpwas just as greasy as it would have been if it were fried. do yourself a favor, just go to the gift shop, get a shirt, and skip the meal here.

enjoyable and fun. great view of beach and water, would suggest this as a place to hit. the peel and eatshrimpis seasoned with taste in mind! wonderful selection of drinks ... the 32 oz long island ice tea will give good vibes.
