great food. great food, mahi-mahi- blt is excellent for 12$ andpineapplecoleslaw. probably the cheapest mahi-mahi you will find at panama city. the rest of the menu is a little overpriced but i don't mind paying a little extra for a local (although famous) restaurant. however one would think they could manage actual (not plastic) silverware if you are spending 12$ - $25 an entree. overall great restaurant. everytime i visit panama city- this place is a must.

definitely a tourist trap. waitress was wonderful and super friendly! food was extremely subpar and not worth what i paid.pineapplecoleslaw was really the only item worth remembering!

if there’s a bigger tourist-driven restaurant in panama city beach than hammerhead fred’s, it’s probablypineapplewilly’s. we got an early start in order to avoid the rush and we were glad we did. you can see from the interior photo of the restaurant it was wide open when we got there, but when we left after our meal, there were only two tables left in the entire restaurant and the wait was 45 minutes and growing. this place is huge, with seating both inside and outside, and spacious deck that overlooks the beach and it begins to become carnival-like as dusk approaches.

love it!!. i don't eat ribs anywhere else other thanpineapplewilly's!!!

loved it!. this was my first trip to pcb and all i heard from friends or family who has been here was to be sure to go topineapplewilly's. i really enjoyed sitting outside and eating on the water. my husband and i got shrimp for an appetizer and it was so good and crunchy. only negative is that it was a bit expensive, but we were prepared for that and expected that, but it was good food, very nice waitress and would go back any time!

disappointed. i was super excited to go topineapplewilly's but that was for no reason! i was extremely disappointed. food was bland. had to ask for bbq sauce to dip my food in because it had no flavor. i would consider this a waste of time. we will not be back.

great oysters.....surprise!. every trip to pcb requires a stop atpineapplewilly's, maybe for some of the always good ribs and a new t-shirt. however the oyster po' boy was the star of this trip. the oysters were fresh, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. what a pleasant surprise. everything we had for lunch was great. great service. so, the next day we came back, sat outside again, and ordered the same thing!

we enjoyed our meal atpineapplewilly's. the drinks were very good. we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach. the fried white cheddar cheese curds were very tasty. the fried mahi-mahi basket was also very good and the fish tasted very fresh. the fried shrimp and the oyster po-boy sandwich was also good. good atmosphere and the service was good.

it was just ok. i had only to problems withpineapplewillys. first it takes way to long to be seated. second they add 18 percent tip into your bill regardless how good your waitress helps you. personally i like for my waitress to earn her tip. other than that the food was great especially the gator tail and the swamp water.

a vacation tradition. one of my greatest memories of coming to pcb as a kid was getting to go topineapplewilly's. my partner and i visited pcb last week for the first time in many years. one of the first places we headed to waspineapplewilly's. parking was a nightmare to say the least, took us quite some time to find a spot. we made it up to the hostess station and put in our name and we were given one of those vibrating alerts to let us know when our table was ready. we went in to shop for t-shirts while we waited and boy was it packed. we made our way through, bought several shirts and by the time we made it out it was time to be seated, not a bad wait at all considering the large amount of people there. we were seated outside at the very end, awesome view overlooking the gulf. our waitress, mary, was a delight. we both ordered an 8 0z pina colada that came in a cute souvenir cup, an order of calamari and 2 house salads. the calamari was awesome, very tender and not chewy at all, the marinara sauce was quite good as well. as we we were eating our calamari and waiting on our salads, we noticed the clouds getting dark and thick really fast. our salads came and within a couple of minutes a heavy rainshower started, our waitress tried to get us to a drier location, several of us got drenched, lol, we didn't complain, it was actually a fun experience. our salads got rained on so the manager took those off our tabs. we finished our drinks, payed our tab, thanked our waitress and headed out. even with the wash out rain shower, we still had a great time and actually came back a few more times during our stay to have drinks. my only complaint is the parking issue...omg!!!

still have the best shrimp in town.. go here, eat gulf shrimp, be happy. repeat.

owned by some really wonderful people..pineapplewilly's is a big attraction for tourists in the summer, but they are so much more than that. the buskell family is always doing great things for the community. they have fundraisers and are heavily invested in local charities. i cannot say enough about how wonderful these people are to the community and their employees. having said that, lets talk about grub!

the grouper poboy is delicious. the fried shrimp is the best in town.....i have tried them at pretty much every restaurant....yup, i'm obsessed. oh yeah, the caribbean salad is really good too. this is not just a touristy place....many locals come out to enjoy the beautiful view and excellent daiquiris!

the best view in town!!!.pineapplewilly's is such a fun restaurant. i like to sit at the end of the pier and slurp down a 190 octane. i really enjoy sitting so close to the water and listening to the waves crash on the shore. i really like their fried shrimp dinner and the key lime pie is delicious! the perfect time is around sunset. you can get an unobstructed view of the water and watch the sun melt down into the horizon.

beachside restaurant reopens.pineapplewilly's is back open for the season. who would ever thunk they would be there, after being offer $30 mil. after 30 years and 250 employees they are still serving great food with great service with great fat tuesday's daquiris while watch the tide come in. fresh grouper and to die for ribs, a must do, on p.c.b. come early parking is limited. what's for lunch.

charged extra for to-go food?. visitedpineapplewilly's this past thursday for a quick pick up dinner as we were staying next door and just assumed eat on the balcony and save on the wait time. i ordered the grouper basket for $11.99 (whoa!) i paid $11.99 for some funnel cake style battered grouper, some luke warm tartar sauce and some french fries. i got about 6 chicken mcnugget size pieces of grouper. got the bill and was charged a "take out fee". wth? lame. i was disappointed. food was just ok. a little on the cool side, actually. maybe i had high hopes. i won't be returning.

after a two hour wait you would think the hype would come full circle. however by the time we were seated the dun had gone down and the lighting was terrible. i'm sure it's better at dusk or before the sun goes down. however the food was rather bleh. the ribs tasted like i was drinking a bottle of jack daniels bbq sauce. couldve saved 15 bucks and just bought a bottle. the grouper was good, butthe pepper andpineapplestir fry that topped it was very bland and overpowering. the mahi mahi blt was probably the highlight. however it was very dry and after bringing out a package of the same tarter sauce i got in my high school cafeteria, the sandwich was edible and very tasty,actually. the server was pretty nice but needs to come around more often if they plan on giving me a drink in an 8 oz styrofoam cup (yuck). i would've been happier with this place had the wait time been a little better and the food was priced a little more like it should've been. when i am fed out of a bucket and with plastic silverware and a styrofoam cup i should be paying max 10-15 a plate not the exorbitant amount of 19.99+ !

get there early and pray for parking. if your luck is holding you may find a parking place in their very spacious lot. this place is popular in a big kind of way. as for the ambiance it's great and you can eat on the beach in their covered area. as for the food i have to give it thumbs up. my wife felt it the best grouper and shrimp she had during our entire visit and i have to agree. i was surprised as i expected the tourist trap type mentality and serve a mediocre meal but it was anything but. yes it's not the cheapest place on the beach but it is on the beach and the quality of the food is above average for certain, at least our opinion it was. it's definitely worth being one of restaurants you choose while visiting pcb but even though they have a large parking lot and overflow parking area the parking is the worst thing about it. hey though it's the beach, it's florida and if you have to walk a ways enjoy the view and the weather but whatever you do i'd recommend tryingpineapplewilly's grouper & shrimp. the other members of our party also recommended the ribs as well. imagine that great ribs from a seafood place on the beach, well that's their opinion as i had to stick with the seafood.
