only thinggoodabout this place is the atmosphere. kinda.the menu doesn't have much variety and the food was what i expect for a average resturant at home but not forgoodvaca dining.

the shrimp and grits were amazing and the rum runner frozen drink was awesome too. the prices though are outrageous. i understand seafood is normally expensive, but $23 for a few shrimp and some cheese grits. don't get me wrong, it wasgoodbut the prices are the only thing i'd complain about. the service wasgoodand they seem to cater to children which was a plus.

all i can say is it was very busy at 6pm. but we were seated in about 45 minutes. food was average with agoodatmosphere. very touristy. recommend eating outside on dock.goodservice. food came out pretty quick. it’s a must do at least once.

on the beach....quite literally! at 9:00 pm the live music starts in the separate-detached bar area. the bar area features several frozen drinks by fat tuesday. the atmosphere was loud but friendly. many children with parents were waiting for a dinner table (1:15 minute wait arriving at 8:20 pm). the chips/salsa/queso was okay but costs $12. the frozen drinks weregoodat $10 for 16oz with free souvenir cup. live music was country. the service was fast and surprisingly great considering the large crowd (thanks tia) we were seated after an hour wait (as warned). we opted to eat outside on the covered pier-like section of the restaurant. the food wasgoodbut not great......way overpriced but the view made up the difference. also, while in the restaurant area you cannot hear the bar area and the noise fades into the surf. i ordered fried oysters (an admitted weakness). 13 for $24 with no substitution options.....hush puppies are an additional $3. the tarter sauce and shrimp sauce are prepackaged ken's steakhouse brand. they were small but not over cooked. i think the oysters, fries, and corn on the cob were all previously frozen.........definitely not fresh. my daughter had the caribbean salad (featured in pic) and my wife got the seafood cobb salad. the tomatoes and cucumbers were not fresh but they enjoyed the rest of their meal. again, i must say the waitstaff was great! fast and friendly service considering the sheer volume of people at this rather large restaurant, thanks mayo! the location and service bring the score here up to a 3.0. my recommendation, come here for the view and order rum runner and a burger. save your $$ for real / fresh seafood elsewhere and enjoy the outstanding view.

after two attempts to get supper or at least drinks here, one with a 1.5 hour wait and another with a "lot full" sign, we hit the sweet spot by going right when they opened for lunch. great table right at the end of the pier---beautiful view! the service was very good, and we loved the drinks, which are a prettygooddeal considering the size and souvenir cup. my husband loved his mahi mahi blt, and my fried shrimp weregoodenough, but i doubt we'll come back for more than drinks.

we are here one night during our stay for a late dinner. average food butgoodservice. if you are looking for s meal to remember look else where. don't sit near the railing outside at night you'll have a light in your face the whole time. guess it's worth going to to say you've been but that's about it.

although we've eaten at pw several times, this is my first review.  we ate lunch here on sunday and had a great experience.  wife had the clam strips basked and they were very good, not overcooked and chewy like some places.  i had the signature jack daniel's ribs and they were better than i had remembered, cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and agoodportion.  i would have liked to have tasted a bit of the namesake whiskey in the sauce, but it was still good.

long wait but almost to be expected in a place that opens up directly onto the beach. food was prettygoodbut a tad pricy. like the idea of buying cups and just bringing them back to refill at a discount. (good advertising on their part)

food wise...i have one word for you...gross!!! the only thinggoodhere is the frozen voodoo juice drink. buy it in house though, because if you get it to go it tastes nothing like it does in house.

it was okay, the drinks were good. a tourist trap if you ask me. that being said our waitress was verygoodand we received our food in a timely manner. i would return but only if someone just wanted to go.

typical frozen dishes heated up. over priced for the quality of food. one of them that orders from sysco or etc and warms them up. rather have red lobster or joe's crab shack and i'm not a fan of either. i likegoodlocal places with specialty dishes and care put into all their dishes.

good food and great crowd. we waited about 30 minutes inside, had a great appetizer of cheese bites. comfy area to hang out and wait to be seated for dinner. family of four sampled pulled pork, ribs,seafood platter and blackened grouper. the place was very busy yet we got our meals in about 5 minutes. great view dining outside,goodservice, and the seafood platter could have been for 2. fun atmosphere and friendly staff, it's family friendly and a must visit for every vacationer.

not the same. i have lived here pc/pcb since i was 3yrs old... (almost 39 now) willy's could be asgoodas i remembered once, but doubtful. i refuse to eat the ribs anymore.... i understand tourism, and labor costs. but to degrade the original recipe... sad, just sad.

loved it!. this was my first trip to pcb and all i heard from friends or family who has been here was to be sure to go to pineapple willy's. i really enjoyed sitting outside and eating on the water. my husband and i got shrimp for an appetizer and it was sogoodand crunchy. only negative is that it was a bit expensive, but we were prepared for that and expected that, but it wasgoodfood, very nice waitress and would go back any time!

good food cold beer.goodfood, cold beer,goodservice, great view. the calamari appetizer was super. overpriced, yes but that's to be expected. can't wait till we go back next summer !
