only thing good about thisplaceis the atmosphere. kinda.the menu doesn't have much variety and the food was what i expect for a average resturant at home but not for good vaca dining.

great food. great food, mahi-mahi- blt is excellent for 12$ and pineapple coleslaw. probably the cheapest mahi-mahi you will find at panama city. the rest of the menu is a little overpriced but i don't mind paying a little extra for a local (although famous) restaurant. however one would think they could manage actual (not plastic) silverware if you are spending 12$ - $25 an entree. overall great restaurant. everytime i visit panama city- thisplaceis a must.

the service was terrible and the owner seem to not care. we were seated and waited 20 minutes for the waitress who never showed up. the couple who were seated after us and behind us received their meals in 20 minutes. when we told the owner that no one came or even offered us water, he simply stated, “we’ll did you ask?” unbelievable!!!!! my daughter has type 1 diabetes and was very hungry. we have been traveling all day and thought it would be a greatplacesince it was convenient and across from our vacation rental. the service is unacceptable and i will definitely not recommend this place.

if there’s a bigger tourist-driven restaurant in panama city beach than hammerhead fred’s, it’s probably pineapple willy’s. we got an early start in order to avoid the rush and we were glad we did. you can see from the interior photo of the restaurant it was wide open when we got there, but when we left after our meal, there were only two tables left in the entire restaurant and the wait was 45 minutes and growing. thisplaceis huge, with seating both inside and outside, and spacious deck that overlooks the beach and it begins to become carnival-like as dusk approaches.

long wait but almost to be expected in aplacethat opens up directly onto the beach. food was pretty good but a tad pricy. like the idea of buying cups and just bringing them back to refill at a discount. (good advertising on their part)

excellent waitress, too bad i forgot her name. she picked up on our quirkiness and joined right in. great sense of humor. i had the clam strips and they were battered just right and tender, not chewy. the margarita was very tasty too. thisplaceis huge and it took about 20 minutes to get a table but it was worth it.

went to watch nfl game 2 weeks ago our group if 18 was asked to quite down. we were making to much noise. there more worried about tourist than local. we found a differentplaceto watch the games. there loss

good food and great crowd. we waited about 30 minutes inside, had a great appetizer of cheese bites. comfy area to hang out and wait to be seated for dinner. family of four sampled pulled pork, ribs,seafood platter and blackened grouper. theplacewas very busy yet we got our meals in about 5 minutes. great view dining outside, good service, and the seafood platter could have been for 2. fun atmosphere and friendly staff, it's family friendly and a must visit for every vacationer.

can you say overrated??. frozen food, bad drinks, and bad service. thisplaceis nothing but a tourist trap with a gimmick. food is overpriced and you can but the same thing in the freezer section at your local costco or sam's club except at least when you make it at home your food will be hot! waited forever for a table only to wait another eternity for our frozen food. we came, we saw, we ate, we won't return.

enjoyable and fun. great view of beach and water, would suggest this as aplaceto hit. the peel and eat shrimp is seasoned with taste in mind! wonderful selection of drinks ... the 32 oz long island ice tea will give good vibes.

food was good and wait staff was excellent. we had the mahi mahi blt and shrimp po boy both which were tasty and filling. funplaceto experience but gets really busy after 5:00 pm.

come on, find something better. i know people are addicted to thisplacebecause its a tourist trap, but have a tiny bit of self respect and go to a legit seafood place. as someone who grew up in pc, i've only been to pw once...and that was enough. mediocre food, overblown prices...you're paying for the view, and not much of one at that. if you're dying for a view, i always recommend schooners to tourists. still "touristy" but much better food. and boondocks is on the bay side in west bay, but has amazing seafood. there are tons of places with good local seafood in panama city, so don't settle for this one. ask a local.

ribs & key lime pie. originally, we just thought that thisplacewas overrated. if you are going, go in the evening, be prepared for a 1 hour wait, difficult parking. just take a number and head for the bar, get a nifty cup and listen to the live music until you get a seat. when you do, sit on the pier and order the ribs. they are some of the best ribs i've ever had. out of the 4 key lime pies we sampled in pcb, this was our favorite.
