pauls pizza steakhouse & lounge

sooo good!!. my family and i are visiting from st. albert to go to the calgary zoo. we had a hardtimefinding something kid friendly and reliable as i'm pregnant and nervous to eat out. after reviewing urbanspoon we decided to visit paul's pizza and steak house. the environment was inviting and relaxing and smelled absolutely delicious. the salads were delicious and there wasn't one piece of sketchy lettuce on the plate! a huge plus as a pregnant woman! the chicken parmagiana and fettucini alfredo were sooo yummy.
portion sizes were verg large and everything tasted very fresh and homemade. if we ever visit airdrie again, we will be back!!

typical small town home cooked style pizza place/pub. not the best decor but the prices are right and the food is good! the french onion soup was actually amazing! lost of cheese and a very nice broth. the garlic bread was to die for!! the service is pretty average for a place like this but they’re fast. nexttimei’m going to try their award winning steak sandwich 😉

firsttimethere tonight and i'm kicking myself for not going sooner! the donair pizza was fantastic! 🍕 our waitress was very friendly and the prices are good. not much for ambiance so i'm thinking take out next time? check it out!

brutal

i ordered a pizza with nothing on it, my kids are very picky. 15 minutes later (awful waittimeby the way, my kids were already hungry when i ordered!!!!!!) the stupid delivery boy shows up at my trailer with a cheese pizza!!!! i said nothing on it!!!! there was sauce and cheese all over it! it looked like they forgot and put it on anyway, completely ignoring my directions!!!!!!! my daughter took one look at that "thing" (i say thing because it wasn't a plain pizza!!) and threw it at the delivery boy's car and stomped off to her room. thanks to pauls pizza, my kids had to go to bed hungry! this isn't africa, my poor kids shouldn't have to sleep on an empty stomach! shame on you paul, letting children go hungry!

went here for dinner with my family for the firsttimeand was very disappointed. waited more than an hour for our food and did not get our appetizer. not going back.

the food restaurant. i have been all over airdrie and calgary and all types of food from indian,greek, italian, to chinese, to western cuisine. i have seen many different scenarios of customer service. i have heard many complaints and accolades for many different restaurants. please please everybody keep giving pauls pizza a bad reputation. i find i am having trouble getting in without waiting. if there were more people disgruntled and saying bad things about pauls i may have an easiertimeto get in and served some of the best food i can eat on a pretty regular basis. it is not just the pizza that is great either it is just about every dish that they make right down to their wonderful caesar salads to their tender prime rib. so if you get upset and do not have patience to wait or pickiness to eat something that is cooked better than you can do on a great day at your own stove. please please feel free to grunge them right into the ground. i would rather enjoy a great meal with other people that enjoy the wonderful things that the good lord has put on earth to offer. especially the wonderful meals owners and staff at pauls. i have been told if you cannot say something nice about somebody don't say it. but i sure hope you all do for the above mentioned reason.

the worst customer service. waited 3 hours. we order from paul's pizza once a week. they get a lot of money from us and our orders, i ordered pizzas at 4:20 to beat the supper rush, it did not arrive until 7:40 and they still charged us full price! i called and spoke to the owner, he couldn't care less. i had to call 4 times before the pizza finally arrived.
anothertimethey delivered the wrong pizzas, we bit into one piece before realizing they were the wrong order, paul's pizza would not deliver our correct order without charging us full price for both orders because 1 piece of pizza had been bitten.
that is 2 times now that it has been paul's pizza mistake, 2 times i have called and spoken to the owner and 2 times that he literally laughed at me and told me it was my fault. i will not waste another dime at this horrible place. customer service is everything.

steak sandwich. well, i have had the steak sandwich numerous times ... every time, it's over cooked ... this cook just can't seem to get it right ... order a sandwich ... you have to actually ask for butter!!! and i think the menu could use some revamping ... same specials all thetime... and even some specials aren't even done on the day they are supposed to ...

firsttimewas not so good. after hearing nothing but great things about paul's we finally managed to get thetimeto go and try it out. first there was a line up not a bad line the manager got us in after five minutes. short staffed which is not surprising in airdrie. ordered pretty quick and got drinks right away. ordered the zucchini stick, they were great. pizza was a greek with half olives but it came over cooked outside and under cooked inside. not a great first impression with the pizza but i think we will give it an other try. maybe just an off night.

paul's delivery. rather disgusting food if they call alfredo sauce flour and water well so be it! their veggies and so called cheese sauce is again flour and water with a little food colouring! airdrie really needs a good take out restaurant and must say paul's has failed numerous times!! come on airdrie we call our selves a city ittimewe have the restaurants to prove it! either that or order from calgary and pay the price! sheesh!

a classic. great food. i used to wish they would change the menu up more frequently, but they cook what they know best, and are good at. if i want to try something new, i don't go here, but if i want a specific dish and want it the way i like it, i know to go to paul's. their pizza's are the best! the owner works hard to provide outstanding customer service. they are proud of their restaurant, and it shows. always enjoyed how the owner personally takestimeto greet people when he can.

terrible customer service. firsttimetrying them out. picked up what i thought was my order. turned out they didn't give me what i ordered. "manager" did nothing to fix their mistake. wouldn't even make a fresh pizza after i paid almost $60 for 2 pizzas!!! will never support a company like this.

only come on sundays or tuesdays when paul is on site, other then that this place is a joke & a waste oftime& money

usually delicious. just had paul's pizza normally delicious but was pretty disappointed thistimeneeded a bib to catch all the grease. was completely soaked slithery slices pretty disappointing.

not impressed at all. firsttimeordering pizza from paul's. i had read reviews in the local airdrie newspaper calling this the best pizza in airdrie.
not even close!
i ordered three varieties of pizza for take out. while the crust and the fact that they layered the top with lots of cheese was ok,there was virtually no pizza sauce on any of the pizzas. the meat that others rave about, to me seemed like just sliced deli sandwich meat you can get at the grocery store layered on under the cheese. so if you like a pizza that's like a sandwich, then i guess you would like their pizza. all three pizzas tasted virtually the same. one pizza was four cheese, which had a slightly different taste, but the hawaiian and the other variety ( which was supposed to have bacon on it ) were almost identical tasting. no bacon to be seen on the one that was supposed to have bacon and no bacon taste at all. there was several layers of sliced lunch meat type ham under the cheese on both varieties with meat. so maybe they consider ham to be bacon. as far as i'm concerned there are some store bought frozen pizzas that are more delicious then the pizzas we had from paul's. so if you are looking for good pizza in airdrie and you haven't tried paul's pizza. i would suggest getting small pizzas to see if you will like their type of pizza first before you waste a bunch of money as i did. will not order from here again. there are a couple of excellent pizza chains in airdrie that have far, far, better pizza.
