parkers' lighthouse

second visit to this restaurant that seems to be the most desirable venue in longbeach. monday eve and it was packed to the rafters.

location location location.

this is one of the best looking restaurants - unpretentious and perfectly located overlooking the yachts, cruise liners and iconic lighthouse. perfect for sundowners as you sit on the deck. the beautiful wooden double story offers views from inside and out. great little wine cellar.

oh the food.. i had a mahi mahi linefish- one of their signature dishes. it was alright. not spectacular. the restaurant is though...best venue ever for a business dinner over 4 hours

seafood!. parker lighthouse is a long time favorite of mine. located by the water in the city of long beach this restaurant offers the freshest seafood and friendliest service anyone could ask for. my dinner was taken by a waitress who had much experience in what she does.she was very knowledgeable of everything on the menu and offered a few items that i may be interested in. i started with a cup of clam chowder soup which was hot and creamy and very delicious. next, i had the calamari which was tender and very light in texture ,not chewy like some places and they offer a delicious dipping sauce with it. after that i had thefish& chips.thefishwas a fresh cod,very flaky and moist with a crispy batter and a tasty tartar sauce for dipping. after eating my late night snack i realized that i can go for another round that's how good and light my snack was.i really like parker's lighthouse because they offer fresh seafood and ingredients and the service is always impeccable.

california's best oceanfront restaurants for your valentine. parker's lighthouse restaurant is located in shoreline village in long beach, and is a close 2nd of one of my favorite places. the have a gorgeous view of the the harbor, ocean as-well. plus should you choose to sit on the 2nd floor you can see farther out to the sea. the manager, michael of the establishment told me a few years ago they have a new vast, brand new-wine cellar up-stairs. in addition to this he'd explained on the 3rd floor they have a new restaurant called: queens view steakhouse. thou, i've never eaten on the 3rd floor i can only imagine their entrees are as amazing as the 1st floor. i love their shrimp cocktail,fish& chips and of-course a fine glass of california chardonnay. they have an open table policy, but do except walk-in patrons. i've never made a reservation here, as i prefer to sit outside for the view of the ocean. you can make a reservation on-line too at: http://www.parkerslighthouse.com/ the pic/below is the view from outside. lovely...

yum-o. i love parkers' lighthouse. when family is in town, we hit this place after the aquarium. best freshfishand great desserts. happy hour is good too ... amazing deals and reasonably priced cocktails. the views are awesome. lots of parking, but you gotta pay if you don't get it validated.
