it felt like paris. theatmospherewas pretty much like being in a brasserie in paris on a saturday evening.
we sat at an indoor table with a great view of the sidewalk at the corner. after a while, it felt almost like being at a sidewalk table of the deux magots in saint-germain-des-prés.
and it wasn't just the location and atmosphere.
the service and food were great. we really enjoyed the whole experience.

theatmosphereand food were wonderful, the server was polite (the restaurant was packed). the only thing is that it wasn't quite worth the price, and it's not the most gluten free friendly of places. however, i am gluten free and was able to find plenty to eat, and everything was delicious.

this is for a series of posts for stephen starr restaurants including:alma de cuba, barclay prime, butcher and singer, continental midtown & martini bar, the dandelion, el rey, el vez, jones, parc, pizzeria stella, route 6 [1], route 6 [2], & square burger. the first time i tried parc was after a nye tasting at twenty manning grill. the gf and i came for a few cocktails before heading to a nye party with some friends. theatmosphereat this french brasserie was comfortable and cozy, decked out in a celebratory mode.

parc is a timeless classic in philadelphia. theatmosphereby rittenhouse square park and people watching are second to none. cocktails and appetizers are my go to and always moules frites for an entree.

i had 2 gorgeous dining experiences in parc when i was living in philadelphia. first was a valentine's day brunch with some girlfriends and it was definitely worth the long wait. i had the special strawberry v-day bellini and poached eggs with bacon and other trimmings, the best part is the basket of french bread and butter and the side of french fries! the second time i went we tried an assortment of dishes including the fish cakes which were superb and the tortellini pasta, i also had the club sandwich which was massive. the titos cocktails were superb but too easy to drink i ended up leaving brunch a little worse for wear! this place is a must! such a goodatmosphereand friendly staff too!

go for the food stay for the scenery.. parc is situated on rittenhouse square and a perfectly appointed french brasserie. its menu is a mix of complex and simple. honestly spoken, i could take or leave french people but their art, culture, and food are an object of obsession. parc exhibits an outstanding aesthetic while delivering food anatmospherethat rivals anything from la belle. i'm a huge fan of their locally sourced charcuterie as well as their absolutely perfect braised beef short rib. the frites are a thing of beauty and perfectly matched with a medium cooked bacon cheese burger if you're looking to eat big. i cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment.

in celebration of bastille day, it’s just fitting to visit philadelphia’s most popular brasserie. theatmosphereis so french with outdoor seating and a poignant looking bar area inside with tungsten lighting. the decor has an undercurrent of sophistication and blasé with wrought iron stained colored fixtures and antique like brass trimmed mirrors. then, you’re greeted by a smiling face and you’re back in philadelphia.

happened here for lunch. couldn't be more pleased.atmospheredelightful, staff pleasant & food a joy. service well timed but not rushed. would return next time we are in area. a definite must.

great eggs benny!. came here for brunch and ordered the eggs benedict. i love theatmospherehere, as it reminds me so much of being in france :) sidewalk seating all around the open air restaurant... the service is good but need to come early for brunch on a saturday if you want outdoor seating.
really enjoyed the eggs benedict and potatoes!

parc has a greatatmosphere–  bustling and lively with an elegant bar and terrace.  its ‘mega bistro’ concept is similar to nyc’s balthazar and pastis and the friendly, chatty staff help maintain an unpretent

consistently good food & service. a shining example of a well run restaurant that has its act together. food is always good, not the absolute best, but still very good and for the price you won't be disappointed. top notchatmosphereand location couldn't be any better. service is quick and professional. all together a positive experience everytime i go there, highly recomended.

piece of paris. my wife is from holland and we typically go on vacation in europe. i have been to france many times. yesterday we went to phila to go to the art museum with our youngest daughter (13) and wandered upon the parc. it was like we went back to paris. food andatmospherewere fantastic. now who wants to answer my daughters whines to go back to france!
