love the food and the services...it is always a treat to go to pappadeaux. we celebrate our birthdays there...we even went for new years. very pleased with everything!

best red beans and rice i ever had!  i had the red beans and rice, andouille sausage and grilled shrimp lunch special.  it was amazing and extremely delicious.  best part was i didn't have to pay, because a sales rep took me there.  really top notch seafood for dfw.

pappadeux is a great place to eat! had a great experience!! our waiter jawad was awesome!! made some great suggestions! food was great! will come back again for sure!

one of my favorite places to eat seafood. the waiters are wonderful and they take everything serious. the food is always fresh and very good. i haven't had a bad experience yet and hopefully you wont either.

solid in consistency. gulf oysters superb year round. eating at the bar is great. seating is pretty quick and outside dining is good in the spring and fall. fried shrimp are good choice. grilled fish with proper toppings are good. seafood gumbo is above average and excellent for dipping hot bread. trying to get into parking lot from 75 exit is hair raising. exit spring valley and take the service road.

unbelievably delicious lobster bisque and shrimp etouffe! excellent service, warm and frienly, and manager is wonderful!

a little noisy at first, but you get used to it and then it adds to the lively atmoshere.

whenever there's a pappadeaux's in town, i'm going to find it and have my awesome meal. however, this is the first pappadeaux's where i was disappointed. the waiter couldn't answer my questions or seem to be making up answers instead of saying...let me find out. my salmon yvette was horrible. it was doused in a overpowering sauce. i should've followed my 1st mind and asked for the sauce on the side. the red beans and rice were bland. the beans were hard as if they didn't soak or cook long enough. the 3 shrimp on top were the best thing about the meal. i tasted my friends crawfish and nearly spit them out. i bleed black & gold so i know how true crawfish is suppose to taste. well, let me say this...the crawfish wasn't horrible, it was different. it wasn't cooked nola style. it definitely wasn't boiled probably stemmed. maybe this was tx style crawfish. my friend really enjoyed them. all and all, i won't be back to this location.

date night, january 24, 2015. my favorite restaurant, julio did an awesome job of taking care of us. fast service, we only waited about 20 minutes for the food. we really enjoyed the stuff shrimp and catfish.

worst experience ever! they told us it would be a 45 minute wait. it turned into a 3 hour wait. the rice was under cooked. we asked for tortillas 3 times. they put some in a plate and put them in a microwave and brought them to us. they were hard and chewy. then one of the girls with us is allergic to avocado. she asked the waiter if her meal had avacado. he said no. they brought plate and it had avacado. margaritas were horrible. such a horrible experience. never coming here again.

miss positive ginger. the service was slow. many servers were standing around talking. it was not a busy time, 1:30 in the afternoon on a tuesday. the food was cold and one person in our party of 4 did not get what was ordered.

my husband and i ate at the pappadeaux's in duncanville and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of seafood ! we live on the gulf coad in alabama and are very spoiled with an abundance of fresh local seafood. this was very fresh and good! service was excellent and fast. our waitress could not have been anymore helpful, constantly refilling our drinks and checking to see if we needed anything . prices were a little higher than usual , but well worth it! we will certainly come back !

we showed up at 1050 the day after valentines days.
the entire restaurant was empty except for one table, the brainless hostess puts us in a tight spot right next to the only other table being occupied in a completely empty restaurant.
we where a group of 6 and the entire place was still empty and the dunce puts us right next to a occupied table... hello ummm hello.

the waiter made a big deal about how the chicken would take 12 to 14 mins to cook.

the friggin appetizer took nearly 40 mins forget the f-ing chicken they couldn't even get the app out in under 40 mins.
my wife asked 3 times before she ordered to please bring out cocktail sauce with the shrimp, yeah the cock tail sauce came with the desert.

our entire group ran out of drinks and no body would ever come over so i went to the drink station and loaded up 6 drinks and put them on a tray and brought it back to the table and not one person said anything to me.

the silver ware was filthy, plates with water stains, i had to send back my knife because it had a huge glob of white hard goo on the handle.
not even sure what that could have been.

the women at the table said there was zero toilet paper in the womens bathroom.

the manager dunce lady came over and all bubbly so how is everything, we where like ummmmmmm where do you want us to start, could we please get some toilet paper in the bathrooms for starters, maybe perhaps some clean silverware an not have to get our own drinks.


that place is a joke folks.
not sure what to say about the other reviews that are on here.

they comped the entire meal but come on get real this place is supposed to be a high end seafood joint.

you get a million times better service at a dollar burger joint.

they should have a guy that punches you in the stomach and another guy who kicks you in the rear as you leave. at least then one might feel as if they actually got something from the experience.

pre-valentine's day dinner. we arrived early, about 5:30 and were shown right to our table. wherever you go, its the same pappadeaux - and that ain't bad! don't cry about the tab, either, we have to pay for atmosphere, selection, and all those doo-dads on the walls - if you want to eat from plastic trays and utensils, with paper mats and napkins, there's a mcburger place nearby. i do not dine here often but when i do, i appreciate the experience as, so it seems, do many others. i started with the oysters pappadeaux, shrimp fondeaux, (for the mrs.), crab stuffed shrimp entrée, and key lime pie for desert. it may not be bourbon street, but we enjoyed a great meal and she left smiling...that's a plus for me!
