pre-valentine's day dinner. we arrived early, about 5:30 and were shown right to our table. wherever you go, its the samepappadeaux- and that ain't bad! don't cry about the tab, either, we have to pay for atmosphere, selection, and all those doo-dads on the walls - if you want to eat from plastic trays and utensils, with paper mats and napkins, there's a mcburger place nearby. i do not dine here often but when i do, i appreciate the experience as, so it seems, do many others. i started with the oysters pappadeaux, shrimp fondeaux, (for the mrs.), crab stuffed shrimp entrée, and key lime pie for desert. it may not be bourbon street, but we enjoyed a great meal and she left smiling...that's a plus for me!
