all military read this. last night my family (a three generation military family) went to papito's to celebrate a promotion, and a birthday. there were five family members in our party. we ordered appetizers, food and drinks. at the end of our meal, we asked if they offered a military discount. we were told yes and our waitstaff person said they would have to show it ( our bill ) to the manager.upon returning to our table, they said that the manager would not honoring the percent off of the entire bill but only the military personnel. we said we had two, one retired and one active. then he wanted her to redo the entire bill. we had other destinantions to make and be on time so we simply paid the entire bill. i simply find it senseless, that when a military member brings friends or family to celebrate they are met with flack over a discount to their bill. both of the military members have served in the war on terror, it is a slap in the face for all that they do to protect and serve. then to add insult to injury the manager stood with his arms crossed with a scowl on his face as we left. there are other mexican restaurants that do take the discount off the entire bill, so needless to say we will not be goingbackto papito's again.
