papachinos

a big establishment...overwhelming almost. i wonder how they keep tabs on all their customers. i don't like it's busyness but i always give restaurants one try even though at first impression, i'm not thrilled by certain things. also, i was meeting with a friend for a play date and well, papachino's is known for being kid-friendly. i enjoyed the wings with blue cheese for a starter. generous portions and the sauce was just everything. i had the pulled pork belly something, something with onion rings and it was okay. again, i keep trying pulled pork belly hoping i'll hit it off with it but no. it just isn't for me. my friend enjoyed her meal too as did the kids (ribs & chips). they're generous with their portions and i guess this is what makes the restaurant so popular.

the food itself is so so. although they have such a wide menu (big, big bonus) that i can't say that their food generally is so so. i'd have to return at least three times to make that kind of conclusion. but the meals we ordered on that day are just alright. however, presentation is great. they do make their food look as appealing as possible.

theservicewas good. all the waiters are attentive and as helpful as possible. they're busy so turnaround times can be a little slow. sadly, i wouldn't return. the place just has a gloomy feel inside and nothing about it moves me. even if my son wanted us to go to a kid-friendly place, i'd pick other places before this one.

food andservicewere superb. have eaten there twice and will definitely do it again. lovely country atmosphere and plenty of space both indoors and out. staff are friendly and well trained. prices are great. lamb roll was superb and they make the best chips. we started off with sushi which was both great quality and extremely good value. i would thoroughly recommend this place. in terms of value and quality, you don't get much better. oh yes, red cappuccino was fantastic.

had a lovely time. food andservicewas great. pizza, sushi and chicken all impressed. cocktails worth it! just note this is a very family friendly restaurant, so if you don't mind kids running around, it is worth a visit.

food was okservicenon excistent. dont want a waiter hanging around me but this guy was planely said pathetic. worst i ever experienced. was busy talking to him he just ignored me. did however discussed it with his manager.

when papachinos first opened, i would have to say it was amazing. the best place for a family to eat out at. theservicewas amazing and the food was always good. the shop has been extended and become bigger. more tables and chairs have been added. the problem is that with the amount that has been added, kitchen can’t keep up.servicehas definitely deteriorated and food quality dropped. food takes long to be served. some of the older waiters still work there and they still try their best to offer the best possible service. i’m sure many people still enjoy it but i personally hope that they start training their waiters a little better. to me it seems like it has become on par with a spur. you only go there so kids can enjoy themselves.

okayishservice(6/10), 10/10 great for kids and 7/10 for food. i had the macho nacho burger- it is pretty tasty and very filling. tastes like nachos with a smokey undertone from the burger patty. quite decent wholesome food.

their motto you can see right from the road 'we love kids' and i'm sure that is what brings a lot of he customer base in as there is a demand for restaurants that are child friendly.

the restaurant is huge and decorated really nicely. it's got a great feel to it. note, if you do not like children, do not come to this restaurant, they are really every where, running around and screeching, if they are not in the play area.

theservicewas average, and i suppose you must have a lot of patience when working with children running in between your feet all day asking for sweets and ginger cookies ( really good ginger cookies to say the least)

they have a really bad bee problem. it becomes unbearable specially if their is any sort of drink at the table. it becomes really uncomfortable and i had to stop eating a couple of times due to so many bees being on me and around the whole table.

we ordered some drinks and a cappuccino which was really nice. the food we ordered was good. we had the man ribs, a steak, the salmon flat bread and the pulled pork flat bread. they had forgotten the onion rings for the pork flat bread, but once we reminded them they brought them and they were really delicious.

overall quite underwhelming and it's not really my scene as i don't have kids, but we were with people that did. food was good, can't complain.

we love going here! big play area for the kids, always greatserviceand food is very tasty and good! would definitely recommend the mexican pizza (with bolognaise sauce)

so i decided to take my kids out on a monday night. they graduated from the spur a long time ago and this is one of the closer restaurants to my house. the place was not at all busy and i have to admit theservicewas pretty average. my son had an oreo milkshake and i managed to steal a sip and it was delicious. i ordered a pizza and so did my son. my daughter ordered a pasta and really i would not recommend it as it was very bland. i will maybe return if it was as quiet as it was tonight but i will not go back on a busy day.

great deliveryserviceadd delicious food. our food arrived quickly and was still warm. big thumbs up to this! will definitely not hesitate to reorder and return to store.

papachinos is a lovely family friendly eatery. it forms part of sevens interior and furniture store which gives it an upmarket light and airy feel. plenty to look at as well as the gorgeous smell of new furniture!
condiderate touches like tiny tables & benches next to some tables for the little ones.
though the food is not perfect, the ambience definitely makes up for it. read: not foodie destination but a place to while away an afternoon.serviceby gedion was good & friendly.
vodka martini - cool and strong and mellowing
the veggies (butternut and spinach) were sumptious. so was the mashed potato. it had a slight smoky flavour - delicious. calamari tubes, grilled was served not quite warm enough.
we enjoyed the chai lattes. but give the waffles a miss!

hierdie restaurant is 'n pragtige plek. ideaal vir luilekker kuiers. gemaklik maar stylvol.

good solid value. tasty bistro type dishes from a menu that may be too large. two of us had a breakfast each at 3pm. great accommodation! will likely habitually visit this pleasant ambience. although theserviceis well intended, a little erudition and polish would be good. go there!

what an awesome kid friendly family resturant. my friends and our kids had a lekker time on saturday afternoon. the waiterservicewas very slow, wasn't pleased with that. the food was average, not the best but the pizza was awesome.
after going again last night i wasn't impressed with the serice at all!

my husband said it was the best steak he had yet.
definitely becoming one of our favorite to visit.
