papachinos

a big establishment...overwhelming almost. i wonder how they keep tabs on all their customers. i don't like it's busyness but i always give restaurants one try even though at first impression, i'm not thrilled by certain things. also, i was meeting with a friend for a play date and well, papachino's is known for being kid-friendly. i enjoyed the wings with blue cheese for a starter. generous portions and the sauce was just everything. i had the pulled pork belly something, something with onion rings and it was okay. again, i keep trying pulled pork belly hoping i'll hit it off with it but no. it just isn't for me. my friend enjoyed her meal too as did the kids (ribs & chips). they're generous with their portions and i guess this is what makes the restaurant so popular.

the food itself is so so. although they have such a wide menu (big, big bonus) that i can't say that their food generally is so so. i'd have to return at least three times to make that kind of conclusion. but the meals we ordered on that day are just alright. however, presentation is great. they do make their food look as appealing as possible.

the service was good. all the waiters are attentive and as helpful as possible. they're busy so turnaround times can be a little slow. sadly, i wouldn't return. the place just has a gloomy feel inside and nothing about it moves me. even if my son wanted us to go to a kid-friendly place, i'd pick other places before this one.

food and service were superb. have eaten there twice and will definitely do it again. lovely country atmosphere and plenty of space both indoors and out. staff are friendly and well trained. prices are great. lamb roll was superb and they make the best chips. we started off with sushi which was both great quality and extremely good value. i would thoroughly recommend this place. in terms of value and quality, you don't get much better. oh yes, red cappuccino was fantastic.

service was non-existent. 45 min after we placed our order the waiter came and told us they are out of rump.
very expensive for the portion sizes aswell as the service.

had a lovely time. food and service was great. pizza, sushi and chicken all impressed. cocktails worth it! just note this is a very family friendly restaurant, so if you don't mind kids running around, it is worth a visit.

food was ok service non excistent. dont want a waiter hanging around me but this guy was planely said pathetic. worst i ever experienced. was busy talking to him he just ignored me. did however discussed it with his manager.

the food was delicious and very fresh.. the play area for the kids is great..our waiter wasnt always around..but the atmosphere was good.we will be back

when papachinos first opened, i would have to say it was amazing. the best place for a family to eat out at. the service was amazing and the food was always good. the shop has been extended and become bigger. more tables and chairs have been added. the problem is that with the amount that has been added, kitchen can’t keep up. service has definitely deteriorated and food quality dropped. food takes long to be served. some of the older waiters still work there and they still try their best to offer the best possible service. i’m sure many people still enjoy it but i personally hope that they start training their waiters a little better. to me it seems like it has become on par with a spur. you only go there so kids can enjoy themselves.

a very family orientated restaurant, with the best kids area and kiddies pizza making . a very relaxed and homey feel to it and the food if of a wide variety and of good quality . i would recommend this restaurant to families with kiddies any day .

okayish service (6/10), 10/10 great for kids and 7/10 for food. i had the macho nacho burger- it is pretty tasty and very filling. tastes like nachos with a smokey undertone from the burger patty. quite decent wholesome food.

i went to papachinos for lunch today after a long while since i didn’t enjoy my last meal there. i can positively say that i am now a fan.

i found the waiters to be welcoming, friendly and informed on their menu.
i was a little apprehensive upon entering that my final holiday lunch would be marred with the screams and tantrums of uncontrolled tiny humans, however the nice closed off veranda area was perfectly placed away from the noise and i enjoyed the quiet conversation kind of vibe.

i ordered the “legend blt” wrap (without avo). it was incredible. the pancella was crispy - to my utmost pleasure - and the chicken mayo was creamy with the sun-dried tomatoes a wonderful addition. they served it cold, which surprised me but i really enjoyed it as it tasted exactly as i had hoped it would.

i also tried out one of their cocktails - the sundowner - and invariably i end up ordering he largest cocktail the restaurant has to offer, but it was the perfect choice. it was refreshing and full of taste - a fruit cocktail cocktail.

overall, i was impressed with this meal, my companion enjoyed her strawberry juice and chicken dish as well.

this restaurant will be one of my new favourites and i really can’t wait to go back. i highly recommended this restaurant if you are looking for a good meal of an evening or even a day.

very unhappy! ordered pasta, pizza and burger this afternoon. not only did i battle with the person answering the phone, having to repeat myself over and over. when our order was finally delivered we did not get the pasta or pizza we ordered. i tried to call back but could not get through!!! very disappointed.

great food, and two big play areas for kids to enjoy. always a good time at papachinos. only down side is that the smoking section is quite far from everything

we ordered the toasted cheese fingers for my son, which was delicious and a very generous portion for a kid. for our "adult" meals, we had the lasagne which was amazing, and the nacho burger which was bursting with flavour. the onion rings were delicious.  the cocktails were very well presented, tasted great and plentiful. my son had a great time and the child minders were on point.  i had a great time here. the food was cold upon arrival, but the waiter quickly sorted this out for us with newly-made dishes. i really appreciated the great service.

prams, babies, toddlers, kids & kids and more kids ... awesome playground & awesome food. pizzas are tasty, kids love making the pizza. oh and we had cocktails ... yum they were good and looked stunning. generally great place for all .... with kids.

their motto you can see right from the road 'we love kids' and i'm sure that is what brings a lot of he customer base in as there is a demand for restaurants that are child friendly.

the restaurant is huge and decorated really nicely. it's got a great feel to it. note, if you do not like children, do not come to this restaurant, they are really every where, running around and screeching, if they are not in the play area.

the service was average, and i suppose you must have a lot of patience when working with children running in between your feet all day asking for sweets and ginger cookies ( really good ginger cookies to say the least)

they have a really bad bee problem. it becomes unbearable specially if their is any sort of drink at the table. it becomes really uncomfortable and i had to stop eating a couple of times due to so many bees being on me and around the whole table.

we ordered some drinks and a cappuccino which was really nice. the food we ordered was good. we had the man ribs, a steak, the salmon flat bread and the pulled pork flat bread. they had forgotten the onion rings for the pork flat bread, but once we reminded them they brought them and they were really delicious.

overall quite underwhelming and it's not really my scene as i don't have kids, but we were with people that did. food was good, can't complain.
