papachinos

a big establishment...overwhelming almost. i wonder how they keep tabs on all their customers. i don't like it's busyness but i always give restaurants one try even though at first impression, i'm not thrilled by certain things. also, i was meeting with a friend for a play date and well, papachino's is known for being kid-friendly. i enjoyed the wings with blue cheese for a starter. generous portions and the sauce was just everything. i had the pulled pork belly something, something with onion rings and it was okay. again, i keep trying pulled pork belly hoping i'll hit it off with it but no. it just isn't for me. my friend enjoyed her meal too as did thekids(ribs & chips). they're generous with their portions and i guess this is what makes the restaurant so popular.

the food itself is so so. although they have such a wide menu (big, big bonus) that i can't say that their food generally is so so. i'd have to return at least three times to make that kind of conclusion. but the meals we ordered on that day are just alright. however, presentation is great. they do make their food look as appealing as possible.

the service was good. all the waiters are attentive and as helpful as possible. they're busy so turnaround times can be a little slow. sadly, i wouldn't return. the place just has a gloomy feel inside and nothing about it moves me. even if my son wanted us to go to a kid-friendly place, i'd pick other places before this one.

had a lovely time. food and service was great. pizza, sushi and chicken all impressed. cocktails worth it! just note this is a very family friendly restaurant, so if you don't mindkidsrunning around, it is worth a visit.

the food was delicious and very fresh.. the play area for thekidsis great..our waiter wasnt always around..but the atmosphere was good.we will be back

when papachinos first opened, i would have to say it was amazing. the best place for a family to eat out at. the service was amazing and the food was always good. the shop has been extended and become bigger. more tables and chairs have been added. the problem is that with the amount that has been added, kitchen can’t keep up. service has definitely deteriorated and food quality dropped. food takes long to be served. some of the older waiters still work there and they still try their best to offer the best possible service. i’m sure many people still enjoy it but i personally hope that they start training their waiters a little better. to me it seems like it has become on par with a spur. you only go there sokidscan enjoy themselves.

a very family orientated restaurant, with the bestkidsarea and kiddies pizza making . a very relaxed and homey feel to it and the food if of a wide variety and of good quality . i would recommend this restaurant to families with kiddies any day .

okayish service (6/10), 10/10 great forkidsand 7/10 for food. i had the macho nacho burger- it is pretty tasty and very filling. tastes like nachos with a smokey undertone from the burger patty. quite decent wholesome food.

great food, and two big play areas forkidsto enjoy. always a good time at papachinos. only down side is that the smoking section is quite far from everything

prams, babies, toddlers,kids&kidsand morekids... awesome playground & awesome food. pizzas are tasty,kidslove making the pizza. oh and we had cocktails ... yum they were good and looked stunning. generally great place for all .... with kids.

really good service. food was really tasty and mykidshad a blast. the play place was clean and in good condition. the baby changing area well equipped and clean. will definitely return.

the menu is great from b'fast to dinner. sushi is also really good. best thing about this place is that they have an epic kiddies area with jungle gyms, climbing walls, make your own pizza station. child minders are friendly andkidslove them!

so i decided to take mykidsout on a monday night. they graduated from the spur a long time ago and this is one of the closer restaurants to my house. the place was not at all busy and i have to admit the service was pretty average. my son had an oreo milkshake and i managed to steal a sip and it was delicious. i ordered a pizza and so did my son. my daughter ordered a pasta and really i would not recommend it as it was very bland. i will maybe return if it was as quiet as it was tonight but i will not go back on a busy day.

we had a good time with thekids. the food was great and i so love the variety they have on theirkidsmenu and their shooters menu . it was a bliss andkidsenjoyed playing outside

finally decided to try them out and we did not leave disappointed!! nice vibe, great food, quick service. perfect forkidstoo, and not too expensive with lots of weekday deals/ specials.

papachinos is a family restaurant that accommodates youngkidsand families! we went here after shopping at sevens the furniture shop which papachinos is part of! i ordered a rump steak, with rocket, parmesan shavings and cherry tomatoes with a balsamic glaze, served with mashed potatoes! food was tasty and fresh! our waiter thomas was very good! the meat was a bit tuff tough! otherwise done to my liking! a nice place for a meal if you have young kiddies as it has a play area.

what an awesome kid friendly family resturant. my friends and ourkidshad a lekker time on saturday afternoon. the waiter service was very slow, wasn't pleased with that. the food was average, not the best but the pizza was awesome.
after going again last night i wasn't impressed with the serice at all!
