food and service were superb. have eaten there twice and will definitely do it again. lovely country atmosphere and plenty of space both indoors and out. staff are friendly and well trained. prices are great. lamb roll was superb and they make the best chips. we started off with sushi which was bothgreatquality and extremely good value. i would thoroughly recommend this place. in terms of value and quality, you don't get much better. oh yes, red cappuccino was fantastic.

okayish service (6/10), 10/10greatfor kids and 7/10 for food. i had the macho nacho burger- it is pretty tasty and very filling. tastes like nachos with a smokey undertone from the burger patty. quite decent wholesome food.

we ordered the toasted cheese fingers for my son, which was delicious and a very generous portion for a kid. for our "adult" meals, we had the lasagne which was amazing, and the nacho burger which was bursting with flavour. the onion rings were delicious.  the cocktails were very well presented, tastedgreatand plentiful. my son had agreattime and the child minders were on point.  i had agreattime here. the food was cold upon arrival, but the waiter quickly sorted this out for us with newly-made dishes. i really appreciated thegreatservice.

prams, babies, toddlers, kids & kids and more kids ... awesome playground & awesome food. pizzas are tasty, kids love making the pizza. oh and we had cocktails ... yum they were good and looked stunning. generallygreatplace for all .... with kids.

their motto you can see right from the road 'we love kids' and i'm sure that is what brings a lot of he customer base in as there is a demand for restaurants that are child friendly.

the restaurant is huge and decorated really nicely. it's got agreatfeel to it. note, if you do not like children, do not come to this restaurant, they are really every where, running around and screeching, if they are not in the play area.

the service was average, and i suppose you must have a lot of patience when working with children running in between your feet all day asking for sweets and ginger cookies ( really good ginger cookies to say the least)

they have a really bad bee problem. it becomes unbearable specially if their is any sort of drink at the table. it becomes really uncomfortable and i had to stop eating a couple of times due to so many bees being on me and around the whole table.

we ordered some drinks and a cappuccino which was really nice. the food we ordered was good. we had the man ribs, a steak, the salmon flat bread and the pulled pork flat bread. they had forgotten the onion rings for the pork flat bread, but once we reminded them they brought them and they were really delicious.

overall quite underwhelming and it's not really my scene as i don't have kids, but we were with people that did. food was good, can't complain.

the menu isgreatfrom b'fast to dinner. sushi is also really good. best thing about this place is that they have an epic kiddies area with jungle gyms, climbing walls, make your own pizza station. child minders are friendly and kids love them!

if you have not been here, make a plan and visit.

we have been going here most weekends for over 4 years. the only restaurant in the east of pretoria that consistently hasgreatservice,greatfood,greatatmosphere and the biggest fun play area for kids. most days you'll find matthew, the owner, there. he is truly one the best restaurant operators you'll find in sa. we have tried all the rest and this remains the best.

we love going here! big play area for the kids, alwaysgreatservice and food is very tasty and good! would definitely recommend the mexican pizza (with bolognaise sauce)

we had a good time with the kids . the food wasgreatand i so love the variety they have on their kids menu and their shooters menu . it was a bliss and kids enjoyed playing outside

finally decided to try them out and we did not leave disappointed!! nice vibe,greatfood, quick service. perfect for kids too, and not too expensive with lots of weekday deals/ specials.

good solid value. tasty bistro type dishes from a menu that may be too large. two of us had a breakfast each at 3pm.greataccommodation! will likely habitually visit this pleasant ambience. although the service is well intended, a little erudition and polish would be good. go there!

upside - what an awesome pizza joint! as their saying goes: respect the pizza... they do just that and more... 2 play areas with supervision provided allows for couples to unwind and enjoygreattasting pizza! downside -the manager needs to chat to waiters taking lunch breaks while they have patrons.

food - 9/10 (loads of toppings)
drinks - 9/10 (awesome cocktail menu)
vibe - 8/10
kids friendly - 9/10
service of waiter - 2/10 (went on lunch while suppose to serve us?!)

best alternative to the spur if you have small children. noisy and busy with agreatplay area and a really good menu.greatfor morning meetings if you don't have kids.

quiet and hidden away but we were well surprised. from the greeting on arrival to the end of the the evening, an awesome experience. reallygreatambience. our waiter, thomas, needs a special mention. best waiter i have experienced in many years. the food was really good, very tasty and met with all expectations. friendly crew and helpful manager. i highly recommend papachinos and another visit is just around the corner.
